I finally took myself to Lush to buy the Honey I Washed The Kids soap.

I've only ever been into Lush to buy presents for people (so apart from the lip scrub I treated myself to when I was in there buying birthday presents for friends, this was my first Lush purchase!)
I have bought this for people in the past, and lusted after it for a long time, so was very happy to finally get it.

Lush say: 'The irresistible toffee and honey soap. Once you've sniffed it, you've got to have it. On paper, it's difficult to portray the full effect of this honeycomb and toffee scented soap. People who fully intended to walk past a Lush shop find themselves unable to resist its tempting fragrance. They inhale, drool, pick up a big chunk and join the queue for the till. It's hard not to buzz about this one.'

I think they're 100% right! It definatley smells good enough to eat, it reminds me of toffee, caramel, honey, vanilla all mixed together - just YUM!
I also think it looks gorgeous with the honeycomb top!

I used a hot knife to cut a slice off the bar I bought, as I didn't want to waste any if I could help it.
It was pretty easy to cut, but if you do this, be careful not to burn yourself on the knife (or cut yourself!)

I used it in the shower, and it felt lovely and smooth on my skin, almost creamy in consistency.
I could smell it the whole time I was in there too!
Unfortunatley the honeycomb top part of the soap fell off when I was using it, so that got wasted by washing down the plug hole.
The piece I cut off the bar was about 1.5cm thick, and I only used about half of it, so the full bar will definatley last a good while - which kind of makes the price tag ok.

My only complaint is that I couldn't really smell it on my skin once I was out of the shower, but this hasn't put me off.
I will definately re-purchase, but maybe I will try a different soap next time (I've got my eye on Rock Star and Porrige)
