Hi everyone, I hope you're all okay!
Another outfit of the day/face of the day post from me...
These photos were taken about a week ago (sorry I'm so behind with my blogging lately), I had just been out to a local country pub for dinner and then to the shops with my boyfriend and our little girl. I'm so glad the weather is finally picking up, I love summery clothes!
My dress and my cardigan are both from New Look... if you follow me on Twitter, I'm sure you will know, that I have been, and still am, having a lot of problems with New Look, which are still no closer to being resolved. Therefore, I'm not going to big up the company, and I bought these items before my problems with them began. I am no longer comfortable shopping with them online, and won't be shopping in store either, at least until they sort out what needs sorting!  I won't go into any detail, though I might write a blog post about it... I haven't decided yet. Should I have a rant, and let you all know what I think of their terrible customer service?

Anyway, back onto this post!
I love this dress, it's so cute with the little love hearts printed allover it, it's one of those items I feel really comfortable in, wether it's dressed up or down. The cardigan is also one of my favourite pieces I own at the moment, it's really thick and warm, so it's great for summer nights or warm days with a breeze. I love the style too... you can't really tell here, but it's one of those waterfall cardigans, so the front is a lot longer than the back, very flattering :)
I added the photo of me without the cardigan, just so you could see the style of the dress, but it just makes me realise how much I need to whip out the St Moriz!! How white am I?!! ( I am also wearing a different lipstick in this photo. I had been and bought a couple of bits from the Topshop makeup range, so was trying my new Brighton Rock lippie out! (Topshop makeup haul and reviews coming soon!)
On my nails I was wearing Nails Inc 'Haymarket' (see my review on this here)... sorry it's slightly chipped! I was also wearing a ring from Claire's Accessories and a necklace which I won in a blog contest.

...and finally onto my face!
I was wearing Mac Studio Tech in NW15 mixed with Maybelline Dream Creamy Foundation in Sand. I can't get away with Studio Tech on its own, it completely dries me out :(
A bit of my favourite concealer Benefit's Erase Paste to cover any blemishes, and Mac 'Sunbasque' blush on my cheeks.
No eyeshadow (as usual), just Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara and Benefit Brow Zings wax on my eyebrows.
Last but not least, I had NYX 'Harmonica' on my lips, topped off with some Body Shop lip balm to give a bit of extra shine.
My hair was straightened and then given a bit of a twist using my amazing Cloud 9 styling irons. (LOTS of how-to posts and a review on these coming very soon!)
