Last Sunday I celebrated my second Mother’s Day with my daughter Elodie and my boyfriend.
In the morning Elodie handed me a lovely card, which she had tried to write herself, and a bag of presents. I got a new bottle of Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb perfume and a mug and tshirt with a picture of us on.
We went and bought some fish and chips and had a little wander round the shops, before heading to the beach, it was just a shame it was so windy. We spent most of the time on the pier, which Elodie loved! It was her first time up there, and I was half expecting her to be scared, but she just spent the whole time squealing and pointing at the sea.
That day, I also managed to squeeze in time to meet a hero of mine. If you read my blog on a regular basis, you will probably know how much I love Boyzone, they are my all-time favourite band, and on Sunday Shane Lynch was racing his car only 15 minutes from where I live. I was lucky enough to meet him and have a little chat… he was so friendly, and even took the time to speak to Elodie.

I haven't got much else to update on as I have been at work everyday since then! What a grafter!

Did anyone win on the Grand National today? I didn't put a bet on. I don't really like it, as a horse lover I just find it too cruel to enjoy.

Let me know if you enjoyed my Week In Photos post from the other day... I might make it a regular feature on my blog, because I'm forever snapping photos on my phone!

Also, if you have any suggestions to what camera I should start saving up for, please let me know... I'm a little clueless!
