Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation: Boots

Having come to the end of my bottle of Mac Studio Fix, I decided it was time for a change. I wanted something lighter for the upcoming Summer months, yet still wanted something which was buildable for covering my problem areas and suitable for my dry skin.

After doing a lot of online research (blog reading) and endlessly swatching every foundation I could get my hands on, I decided that this was the one to go with.

I really like dewy skin at the moment, so didn't want to go with a matte finish. When I heard that this foundation is quite glittery, I was a little put off, but once I tested it on the back of my hand in Boots, I realised it's not really glittery! Yes, it does have tiny glitter particles in it, but once blended out on the face, it simply gives off a fresh, radiant glow, definitely no glitter ball cheeks with this stuff!

I was quite pleased with the colour selection in this range, I know there isn't going to be a perfect match for everyone's skin tone, but I went with Ivory, and I'm really happy with the shade.

I've found that applying this with my fingers is really effective, and it makes it very easy to build up on my problem areas. It may also be a coincidence, but I have noticed massive improvement in my skin condition since using this, I've hardly had any breakouts which is rare for me.

I know I'm not a really clued up beauty blogger, but I really rate this foundation, and wanted to share my thoughts... if you have any questions regarding this foundation, I will be happy to answer them.
