When it comes to fashion, I'm a lover of Autumn/Winter style, but my all time favourite look is anything for festival season. When I went to Scarborough (or Scarbados) to
try and see Olly Murs at the weekend, it felt like the perfect excuse to rock a festival style outfit. I'm not going to any festivals this year, so it was my only chance!
The sun was shining, so I chose to wear my new vest from Primark. I'm a little bit in love with this vest, it's got beaded crosses all over the front, and was a bargainous £6! They do it in black too, I think I'm going to get that one as well. For reference, I'm a size 10-12, but I bought a size 14 in this, because it's cropped, but I wanted to wear it baggy.
I wore my new Internacionale denim shorts, and tucked the top into the front. Although I didn't need to, I wore my leather jacket (the weather in the North is never predictable). I love putting leather and denim together, I think two classic items like these work perfectly together.
I also used the excuse that I was going to see Olly, to wear one of his trademark hats.
The jewellery I chose (apart from the bracelet) is all from a lovely little online shop called Janie's Attic. I've mentioned before how much I love handmade jewellery, and these items are right up my street! I wore the matching turquoise cross necklace and peace sign ear cuff and a silver Hamsa hand ring. I love the pop of colour from the turquoise accessories. All of the jewellery is great quality, and really affordable... if you're looking for some unique pieces of jewellery, definitely check out the site!
Sorry about the lighting in some of these photos, I was fighting against the clouds coming in, and it started to rain straight after I finished taking pictures!
Let me know if you've blogged about any festival style fashion!
