July already, can you believe it?! And once again I'm late getting this post up... I do apologise. I think I need to get better at scheduling!
Steamcream - As a sufferer of dry and quite sensitive skin, I am on the constant look out for a moisturiser which is really going to hydrate and sooth my skin. I think I have found the perfect (or best yet) product in this. I love that it is made from natural ingredients, and that I'm not rubbing chemicals into my skin. And, as a bonus, they come in gorgeous little tins... it took me about half an hour to choose which one to get!
Real Techniques Brushes - I decided to get a few of these brushes when the hype first began on all of the beauty blogs. I've never had many makeup brushes, only 1 Mac brush and a couple from ELF, but Real Techniques have completely convinced me that brushes are a must-have! I can't believe the quality... they're great, especially for the prices, which I think are very reasonable. It's nice to not have to splash out a fortune (part of the reason I've never stocked up on Mac brushes!) My initial thoughts when I opened these was just how soft they are, they're silky soft, and it's hard not to sit and rub them up and down your cheek... trust me! I can actually see a difference in my makeup when applied with these brushes too, they make it so much easier to achieve a flawless finish. I'm definitely going to buy more.
Topshop Brighton Rock lipstick - This was the first Topshop makeup item I ever bought, and I always seem to choose it for night's out. I wore it last Saturday night, and it never disappoints. I find that the colour is really long lasting on my lips, and it doesn't dry out. Although I think it suits my skin tone better when I'm tanned, I'm still getting lots of use out of it. This is definitely my favourite bright lipstick.
Ciate Nail Polish - This is my one and only Ciate nail polish, but I'll definitely be looking into trying some more! I got this one free with In Style magazine last month, and now I totally wish I'd got the other colours too. It's a gorgeous grey/lilac colour, the quality is amazing, and it applies so smoothly! If you have any recommendations of colours for me to try next, please let me know!
love real techniques sooo much! made such a difference to my make up application! x

LOVE that lipstick colour! I really want some Real Technique brushes, keep forgetting to buy them lol xx
ReplyDeleteI really love the Real Techniques Brushes but i only seem to really use the buffing brush and contour brush so it feel like a bit of a waste. I need to try a topshop lipstick, i've heard so much about them. :) x

I was a bit dubious about the RT brushes, because of all the hype around them, but I'm so glad I got them! They're so easy to clean too, compared to brushes I've had in the past.
