Liz Earle has to be one of my favourite beauty brands; I love their skincare range and I'm a massive supporter of the fact that they use natural ingredients and don't test on animals. In a world where animal testing is a common thing within the beauty industry, it's nice to know that you can get quality products which have no part in this kind testing.

Those of you who are likeminded with me on this subject will be happy to know that Liz Earle have now branched out into the world of makeup!
If you're a fan of natural looking makeup which enhances your features, then this is the collection for you. Ideal for work or casual days off, when you just want to look pretty and not over-done.

When I was sent one of their Healthy Glow Powder Blushes to try, I literally couldn't wait to get it out of the box and get it onto my cheeks (after photographing it of course (blogger rules)!)

My initial thoughts on the packaging were that the box is very similar to Nars makeup, simple, sleek and classy. The product itself is very compact and cute, with a subtle glittery shimmer to the casing, and I was happy to find a mirror inside the lid - I hate when cheek products don't come with a mirror! I also love that the actual product has 'Liz Earle' printed into it and that they give a little hints & tips booklet with the blush... little extra details like these make all the difference.

I was sent shade 'Rose 04' which is described as 'a warm rose pink', and I have to say, as far as enhancing my natural colour goes, this couldn't have been a better match. I'm really pale (as you probably already knew) and when applied  lightly, it doesn't even look like I'm wearing makeup, it just gives a healthy, natural glow. When built up however, because it is so highly pigmented, it creates a gorgeous shade on my cheeks. I've been wearing it on a daily basis for work, and I can't wait to try out more of the colours!

Have you tried any of the Liz Earle makeup yet? What would you recommend?
