On Sunday I was invited to attend the ghd Air Boutique in Newcastle.
It was a chance to have my hair styled and learn a bit about the new ghd Air Hairdryer.

The ghd Caravan has been touring the UK, offering free blow dries to anyone who wanted one. Unfortunately, the Newcastle stop didn't have a water supply, so I couldn't have a blow dry, but I was given a lovely sleek and wavy style from Anton, a stylist from Swansea who was lovely!

The style he gave me was very different to anything I'd ever tried... for one, it was smooth on top, no backcombing took place! My hair was curled using ghd stylers, then brushed out and waved using a paddle brush. I was really impressed with how shiny and healthy my hair looked at the end, and I loved the waves... unfortunately I can't really get used to not having any volume in the top of my hair, but with a bit of a mess up on top, I would definitely re-create this look for a night out.

There is currently a limited edition black & pink version of the hair dryer available, and for every hairdryer sold, £10 will be donated to Breakthrough Breast Cancer... a charity I am very keen in supporting, and one I believe that everyone should be happy to support (the perfect excuse to treat yourself to a new hair dryer!)
