Did you know that on average, most mascaras contain between 4 and 7 preservatives? No... neither did I, until I was chatting to one of the girls in Lush in Covent Garden.
I was telling her all about my sensitive eyes, and she suggested I give their mascara a go as it's extra gentle for people with sore eyes like me.

After using this on a daily basis for a week, I have to say that I'm really impressed. One coat is very subtle, but after building two or three coats, I'm left with long, volumised lashes.
Not only that... my eyes aren't as sore as they were before I started using it, and although I can't claim that this has cured my eyes... it's definitely helped!
The mascara contains wheatgrass, which conditions your lashes, so while you're wearing it, you're actually doing some good too. It also contains Carnauba Wax which makes the mascara waterproof, so when my eyes do water in the cold weather (which happens a lot for me), theres no smudging - bonus!

The only thing I don't like about this mascara is the wand... not the brush, thats fine. I just don't like how short the wand is. I find myself getting a little bit clumsy with the chunky handle being so close to the brush, which is a shame, but I am getting used to it the more I use it. The fact that the bottle is only small means it's easier to fit in a night out bag or purse though, so that's good!

Have you tried any of the Lush cosmetics yet?
