We held out first Fabb event in Leeds on Saturday, and although it was quite nerve wracking (I was so worried that people wouldn't enjoy themselves)and quite stressful (I got rained on before I set off so my hair was a complete mess all day, and speaking in front of a group has never been my strong point)… I do actually have to say that the event was a huge success.
We held the event in Chilli White in Leeds centre, which is a lovely venue, with beautiful decor.
For those of you who came to the meet up, I must apologise for the size of the room, which was smaller than we expected. As myself and Ray aren't from Leeds, we had to take the word of the venue, and judge it by the pictures we were sent, and we were led to believe the room would hold 110 people. With 50 bloggers attending, we assumed there would be plenty of space, and this wasn't the case. Such a shame, as the room was really beautiful, a few extra metres each way and it would have been perfect.
I absolutely love meeting bloggers and I only wish I had been able to speak to every person who came for longer… I did try my best to speak to everyone a little bit though (hopefully I didn't miss anyone out), and everybody was absolutely lovely!
Everyone seemed to mingle really well while they sipped on cocktails and ate the cake pops (supplied by my friend Charlotte from Flossie's Kitchen) and the cupcakes (supplied by Ray's friend Rosie from Rose The Cakemaker).
We had some wonderful brands attend the meet up; Cloud Nine, Health Point Ltd, Chiara Fashion, Best British Bloggers & Ark Clothing.
Representing Cloud Nine was Jen, who you may recognise from A Little Bird. I was over the moon when I found out Jen was coming, as I've been reading her blog for years now, and she was even lovelier than I could have imagined. Cloud Nine were super generous and brought a Waving Wand to give away to one of the attendees (the lucky winner was Hollie).
Bruce from Health Point Ltd gave a talk all about the products he works with and treated everyone to a bag full of goodies which all retail at £1 or under. I'm so excited to try everything out and let you know how I rate them!
Chiara Fashion did a prize draw and chosen ten people to win some lovely pieces from their website.
Best British Bloggers gave a really informative talk about how bloggers can work with PR companies and brands, what they look for in a blog and a blogger and answered lots of questions.
Ark Clothing brought some clothes from their website to show everyone and spoke about their competitive prices. By the time they had finished, I found myself with a mental note of about ten things I want to buy!
We had an awesome photographer called Hannah at the event (see her photos here).

The 3 hour event flew by, and before I knew it everyone was leaving. I can't wait for the next one!
We gave everyone who attended a goody bag which was supplied by UCLA Clothing, and filled with products from all of our wonderful sponsors; St Moriz, Tweezerman, Alessandro, Batiste, Neal & Wolf, Witch Skincare, Elemis, Blend Collective, Inkwear, Jamela Skincare and Treacle Moon.
Thank you to everyone who came, and everyone involved in the event.
If you would like to attend one of our FABB events, you can follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook to keep up to date with what we're organising.
The next two events will be held in Newcastle & Manchester but we are aiming to cover the entire country, so don't worry, we'll make it to you soon! Let me know in the comments where you would like us to hold an event.

Thats such an amazing idea! You should focus on the north because a lot of brands dont do events up here and maybe with your help that can change!!
