I always think that it's important not to get too carried away with spending money, and with the amount of blogs I read, this can be hard. I think most bloggers will understand how easy it is to slip into the habit of just buy things because someone has given it a good review on their blog.
Recently, I've made a conscious effort not to buy things on impulse, and to try and be good with my money.

I've only bought things that I really need, or things that are on offer.
Last year I wrote a series of blog posts about my favourite products under £5 which made me realise that I don't need to be spending lots of money on makeup all the time... I believe that with good skincare and foundation, the rest just falls into place.

If you prefer higher priced brands, sometimes shopping around can really help, and just keeping your eyes and ears peeled, for example, next months Elle magazine will be giving away a free Benefit They're Real mini mascara (the magazine is less than half the price of the value of the mascara) - so stock up and May's issue of In Style will be giving away Nails Inc nail polishes.

While looking around for offers worth taking advantage of I found 30% off everything at  The Body Shop - I've always loved The Body Shop products, but my love was rekindled at the event I went to last week.
Also, because it's payday at the end of this week, I think I might buy a little something with the 12% off orders at Look Fantastic offer... seems too good to miss!

Do you have any tips for saving money when it comes to beauty products?
