I always find dressing for Summer days out difficult. Winter days out are easy, you just layer up and add a hat or scarf and you're good to go. When it comes to Summer, there's no hiding under coats and cardigans, everything is visible, so you need to look good, yet sometimes you still need to be casual and always comfy.

This latest outfit under £50 is what I would wear for a picnic in the park, for a trip to the beach or for a wander around the town on a Summer's day.

The first item I chose for the outfit was the denim skater skirt, which is available in light or dark wash denim... I've been wanting one of these for a while now, and I don't think it's going to be long before I cave, and get one. For less than £15, they're a bargain... they go with pretty much any top, and with lots of different options of shoes - they're a definite staple for everyones wardrobe this year.

When it comes to styling these skirts, almost any style of top is an option. For this outfit I chose to add a girly lace crop top, which also comes in a choice of colours. I love crop tops with sleeves, as they're not too revealing - perfect for people like me who don't like to flash the flesh too much!
You can wear these kinds of outfits with the skirt quite high waisted, so only a tiny bit of tummy is on show, or you can even wear a vest underneath if you're not comfortable with any skin being on show.

I can't believe that these Converse style boots are only £9.99, how amazing is that?!! I'm definitely going to be getting a pair of these to wear with skirts, dresses, leggings, jeans... the list goes on. They're the most versatile kind of shoes ever, and for a tenner, everyone should have a pair! They would look so cute with this outfit.

For accessories I had £12.03 of the budget left to spend, and I can't quite believe that I managed to get a denim backpack and some bangles with that. I'm a firm believer that everyone should own a backpack, they're back in style and they're so useful. I'm a big fan of denim, and this particular one is just lovely... simple designs like this mean it will be more useful, as it will go with more outfits.
Last up, good old Forever 21 never let me down when it comes to fashionable but very affordable jewellery, these bangles would finish the outfit off perfectly, and you get a choice of gold or silver effect.

What do you think... would you wear this outfit?
