It's very rare that I get to treat myself to a bit of a pamper night, but when I do get the chance, I tend to go all out, and really try to relax and enjoy myself.
A recent survey carried out by Ladbrokes Bingo, revealed that 70% of women prefer to spend a night in with their friends than a night out and 35% of these women class pampering as the priority for the night in. I certainly agree with that, a night in with face masks and girl chat is much more appealing than a night out getting drunk!

I thought I would share some of my favourite pamper products with you all.

Scented candles are the necessary start to any relaxing night, I'm currently burning my personalised candles (my favourite being the vanilla scented one) and when teamed with some quiet, easy going music, the scene is set in my bedroom and bathroom for a spa-esque pamper night and a bit of me time.

- Hair Mask
After a shower, I like to treat my hair to a hair mask. This one from Milkshake smells absolutely incredible, it reminds me of vanilla and strawberry ice cream… it definitely smells good enough to eat! I leave this on my hair for around ten minutes before rinsing, and I can always feel the difference between this and my usual conditioner.

- Body Oil
When I get out of the shower, I usually reach for body butters, but for a more luxurious treatment I like to use a body oil. I have quite dry skin, so an oil really feels like a treat for my skin. I've recently been using this one from the Body Shop, which smells like chocolate… it's such a great product, which is really accessible and affordable.

- Face Mask
I only ever use face masks when I'm having a pamper night… most of the time I don't feel like I have enough time to use them, so when I do, I really enjoy it. The two masks I have used most recently are The Body Shop's Oat and Honey mask, which is real exfoliating and great for dry skin, and the Amie Skincare cooling clay mask, which is great for a day when you've been really busy and your skin feels quite tired.

- Nail & Cuticle Oil
Much like with body oil, I feel like this is quite a luxury product. Probably because I've only recently started using this. It has already started to improve the condition of my nails, so it's a really nice treat.

- Nail Varnish
Nothing completes a great pamper night like painting your nails a new colour. I always feel complete when my nail varnish is newly painted, not chipped and a colour I love.

I don't always fake tan on a pamper night… when I do, I skip the body oil and use the tan instead. I tend to only fake tan if I'm going out the next night. My favourite tan at the moment is the He-Shi Express Liquid Tan.
