Dress: ASOS (direct link)
Boots: Matalan (direct link)
No your eyes are not deceiving you, I am back with another outfit post, and about blummin' time too! This is what I wore to the FABB event in Manchester on Saturday... but more about that in tomorrow's blog post.
I absolutely fell in love with the dress as soon as I laid eyes on it, and ordered it for the event straight away. I love elephants, and the print is oh so cute, sorry for the iPhone pictures not being really clear, but if you have a look on ASOS at the link above, you can see it in more detail.
The style of the dress is so easy to wear, and so comfortable. Even though the fabric is quite thick (and amazing quality) it's still quite cool for the warm weather.
I styled it really simply, with bare legs and my cut out boots from Matalan, but I'd also wear this with sandals, with a leather jacket or with tights in the colder months, it's definitely a versatile piece.
As you can see from the bottom image, the dress is very oversized, but I like that look, and think it really works. For reference, if you're thinking of buying the dress, I usually wear a size 10 or 12, and I'm wearing the 12 here (although I'm sure a size 8 would have fitted too!)
These boots are my favourite shoes at the moment, I love the cut out heel design (sorry for lack of photo evidence) and they're really comfy.
I'm back into the swing of blogging now, after a bit of an unplanned break, so I'll be shooting some proper outfit posts in the next few days for you all.
