I've never been someone who was really strict with my skincare routine, or someone who has absolute favourite products. I do look after my skin, but I like to try new things and switch about quite a lot with brands. I find that if I stick with one product for a length of time, my skin starts to become too used to it, and I don't see the benefits as much as I should.

I have quite sensitive skin, so it may seem strange that I don't stick to the same products, but I also have combination skin and I find that if I keep using the same product all the time, my skin gets drier or oilier... it's quite hard to explain, but I do have my favourites that I always go back to after a little break.

My current morning skincare routine consists of four products, two of which I alternate and the other two I use on a daily basis.
First up, I use either the Amie Morning Clear face wash or the No 7 Beautiful Skin Radiance Exfoliator. As my skin is quite sensitive, I don't like to exfoliate too often as it can make my face feel quite tight and sore, so I use the Amie face wash most days (usually 4 or 5 times a week) and the No 7 exfoliator on the other days or when my skin feels particularly dry or dull, as this is made to brighten the skin, and I really think that it does.
The Amie face wash is a really gentle product, so it's nice to use in-between exfoliating. It is cruelty free, contains 96.8% natural ingredients and is ideal for my sensitive skin. It always leaves my skin feeling really moisturised, and is really fresh smelling, so its a great wake me up product.

My current toner is from Oh Organics, I'm really enjoying using this because most toners leave my skin feeling tight and dried out, but this is really moisturising, which is a great change. It's really refreshing too and (such a great idea) it can be used as a spray as well as using it with a cotton wool pad.

Lastly, I've really been enjoying using the Miracle Mattifier from Good Things, although I don't really have typically oily skin, it still works amazingly for me. I only really get oily around my nose and sometimes on my forehead (especially through the warmer months) and this completely gets rid of that, while moisturising my drier areas thoroughly. I also find, when using this, I get less breakouts... maybe a coincidence, but I do think that this has something to do with it. I also have to mention the smell, the oh so beautiful smell, which is down to the extracts of blackcurrant and goji berry - delicious!

I'll share my evening skincare routine with you in the next few weeks.
