Christmas shopping is always so stressful, I always find it really hard to buy for certain people and then I end up spending a fortune, just to make sure I'm buying them something I know they will like.

This year I decided to start my shopping early and bought my first presents in September. I'm still not finished, but I've been doing it bit by bit... anything to avoid the mad rush on Christmas Eve! No pushing and shoving, no massive queues, no searching for things in sizes and colours that have sold out, just stress free and actually quite fun Christmas shopping for me!

Big department stores make shopping for lots of people much easier, there's a mixture of brands and items suitable for everyone and I've found that I can get a few people sorted in one shop.
TJ Hughes is a great shop, they sell lots of recognisable brands and everything is really affordable. My local store has just reopened, and in perfect time for Christmas... I managed to pick up presents for my Mam, Dad, boyfriend and daughter all in one go - the perfect one stop shop, especially for those who hate shopping, it makes life so much easier.

If you're shopping for extra presents for family and friends, TJ Hughes is ideal. You can always guarantee good quality pyjamas, slippers and dressing gowns for all the family, they sell electricals (so if someone's hinting at a new TV or laptop, you'll be able to get one for a fraction of the price you'd pay elsewhere) and the choice of toys for the little ones in your life is endless, I was completely spoilt for choice when I was looking for Elodie. For your loved one, you can never go wrong with smellies and they have great range of affordable perfume sets for Christmas, I actually ended up buying a couple of sets for my boyfriend because they were such good value.

If you aren't lucky enough to have a store near you, you can shop online at, so you're not missing out completely!
