Last month saw another FABB Event in Leeds, but this one was a little different to the rest... for this event we worked exclusively with Halo Hair Extensions and a select group of bloggers from the Leeds area.

The event was held at White Cloth Gallery on a chilly Sunday afternoon. As I'm not from Leeds, I'd never been to the gallery before, but it is such a lovely space and perfect for the event.
The bloggers were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and once everyone had arrived there was a small intorodction and speech from the creator of Halo Hair Extensions.

If you've never heard of Halo before, they're such a wonderful concept. The extensions are made from 100% real human hair and they use no clips and no glue, they simply fit around your head on an adjustable miracle wire, meaning anyone can have long, flowing locks in minutes.

All of the bloggers who attended the event had sent a photo of their hair for Halo to colour match previous to the event, and they did a pretty amazing job of only having to change one person's extensions for a slightly different colour - this proves that if you want to order some online, you can send them a photo and pretty much guarantee they're going to get your colour match spot on. Aimee from Halo and Mark from Mak Hair Design were on hand to fit everyones Halos, while the other guys from Halo mingled and chatted with the bloggers while we all nibbled on the amazing canapĂ©s (chocolate dipped strawberries being my canapĂ© of choice).

Although my hair doesn't really need the length of extensions, with a bit of curl and backcombing I was loving the effect of extra hair for even more volume! The best thing about the extensions being human hair is that you can straighten and curl them, wash them and even dye them.

For before and after photos of everyone's hair and more photos of the event, you can check out the gallery on the FABB Facebook page here
You can also follow FABB on Twitter to keep up with info about our upcoming events... next on the list is Liverpool!
