Illamasqua Nymph Powder Blusher

Throughout the colder months, I always find myself reaching for pink toned blushes. I think they're much more flattering on my pale skin and they give a realistic flush of colour to the cheeks... imagine that flushed, cold cheeks look that you'd get if you were out in the wind or snow for a while, but better!
My favourite pink blush, which I am continuously reaching for at the moment is Nymph from Illamasqua.

I am pretty much in love with every Illamasqua product that I own, but this is definitely one of the stand out ones. The colour of the blush in the pan is the perfect candy pink, and when swatched, the colour pay off is exactly the same. On the cheeks it can be worn very subtly when applied lightly with a duo fibre brush for a slight dash of colour, or with a denser brush it can be built up to give off a brighter and more dramatic look, Illamasqua even recommend using a damp brush to apply if you want a really intense colour pay off.

I like to go for a medium application, as I like my blush to be fairly noticeable but I don't want it to dominate my face, I still like quite a natural finish to my makeup. I've been wearing quite dewy foundation lately, which works really well as a contrast with the matte finish of the blush.
I have mainly been using cream blushes for the past year or so, but this has been a nice change. Going back to powder has really made me appreciate the longevity and lasting power this blush has. It is really long lasting on my cheeks and I've found that it lasts all of my working day without the need to touch up.

I'm definitely going to be trying a few more powder blushers from Illamasqua... if they're all as good as this one, I'll be a very happy lady! Which would you recommend?!
