Apparently Spring is coming, which means out with the berry shades and in with the pastels and not just only in my wardrobe, it's time for a makeup overhaul too. When I received the new release from Benefit I was so excited to see that it was a new 'tint', I'm such a fan of their Benetint which was one of the first Benefit products I ever bought, and their ChaCha Tint which is a perfect coral shade which I am obsessed with wearing on my cheeks. However, Lollitint has to be the new frontrunner for me, it's the perfect shade for my skin tone.
Benefit's tints are a liquid product which can be used to stain the lips and the cheeks. Lollitint is described by Benefit as a 'candy-orchid' shade, which is super girly, Summery and beautiful. The colour is very buildable on both the lips and cheeks. I apply it onto my lips directly with the brush, which I find really easy to use. The stain dries almost instantly, there's no sticky lips here, no hair getting blown onto your lips and no smudging - what more could you ask for?! You can even kiss and it doesn't budge! If you aren't a fan of the matte look, just add a slick of lip balm or a clear gloss over the top and you're good to go.
When applying to the cheeks, I like to use my fingertips and blot it to blend it in, again this can be built up to give a brighter colour, and trust me, once it's dried its there to stay (lilac fingertips look good, right?!) A little really does go a long way with this too, so don't be too put off by the price tag, it's definitely justified by the quality and how long it will last.
Have you ever wanted to achieve that unicorn/mermaid lilac shade on your lips or cheeks?.. Well that is exactly how I would describe this colour, it's magical and just so pretty! This is going to be a product that I am constantly reaching for, it's so simple and quick to use, yet really effective. It has been my go to product for my cheeks for daytime for the past week, and I can't wait to layer it up on my lips for a night out with the girls next weekend.
Will you be picking this up? Even if the shade of tint isn't for you I'm sure you could just admire the beauty of the bottle!
