This month I have been experimenting with the new base product from Benefit; The Big Easy is not a foundation, nor is it a BB Cream, it's in a world of it's own, it's 'bigger than BB', it's a multi-balancing complexion perfector and it's pretty damn good! This is something I probably wouldn't have tried if I hadn't been so lucky to be sent it to try, mainly due to the fact that is is a liquid to powder formula, but trust me you dry skinned ladies out there... don't let that put you off! It somehow manages to stay glowy despite having a powdery finish (don't ask me how, I told you it's in a world of it's own!)

I was sent three shades to play with; Light/Medium, Medium & Beige, and as you can see for the swatches, they're all a lot darker than my skin tone. Using Light/Medium however, when buffed into my skin using my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush the colour adjusts to suit my skin tone and leaves me with a flawless base that feels velvety to the touch.
I generally reach for a medium/full coverage foundation, but now that the weather is hotting up I am enjoying wearing products with lighter coverage, which don't feel as heavy on the skin. This lets my skin breathe and to be honest, it hardly feels like I'm wearing any makeup.

If you suffer from oily skin, this will have so many benefit for you. Not only will it do all of the above, it also balances moisture and controls oil, no need to powder on top of this, it's like a one stop shop, apply and go! If you're not team oily, don't let this put you off... I suffer from a lot of dry patches, and although when worn alone this does cling a little, I just apply my moisturiser first and then I'm good to go!

Have you given this a go yet?
What do you think?!
