It's bank holiday weekend, so what are your plans for tonight? Big night out? Cocktails with the girls? BBQ? I'll be chilling in my onesie watching the British Soap Awards, such a loser, but I don't even care!
I'm a big fan of Hollyoaks, so I always enjoy the awards, waiting to see if they win (although this year I've seen the list of winners, but don't worry I won't give anything away!)
My favourite part though, is admiring the dresses... this is my best dressed list.
Sophie Austin who plays Lindsay on Hollyoaks wore my favourite dress of the night, I think she looks amazing. I love navy, it's such a classy colour, yet not as formal as black and the cut of the dress with the train is the perfect amount of glamour for a red carpet event. Unfortunately you can't really see from this photo, but the waistline of the dress was embellished with diamantes, which she balanced perfectly with a simple clutch bag and slicked back hair.
Jessica Fox did well not to blend into the red background in her red dress and although it's a fairly simple number, I love the cut on the shoulders and it really flatters her shape. The gold clutch bag and bronze eye makeup work so well together, she looks really polished.
Steph Waring looked super pretty in an eye-catching yellow lace number which really compliments her hair and her sun kissed makeup look by Cassie Lomas Makeup Academy. Last year if anyone had rocked up in yellow, they would have been laughed at but it seems yellow is the colour of SS14. I'm quite surprised there weren't any more yellow frocks on the red carpet!
Nudes and creams are always popular choices for these awards shows and Mandip Gill impressed me for the second year running in her beaded dress. A really simple shaped dress with lots of glitz is a lovely balance, with the simple clutch bag and glowy makeup, she has accessorised perfectly.
Jazmine Franks also went for a nude dress, a much slinkier style than everyone else's which really flattered her shape. I love the grecian hairstyle, the simple choice of jewellery and her tan too!
Finally someone who's not on Hollyoaks! Brooke Vincent's outfit was my runner up, it's absolutely stunning! The long white skirt with gold leaf crop top is bang in the middle of glamorous and on trend, and she's such a beautiful girl, she can't really go far wrong. If I had the figure for it, I'd love an excuse to wear this outfit.
Last but not least, Jorgie Porter is someone who's style goes up and down for me, I always find myself either really loving what she's wearing, or really hating it. This year she gets the thumbs up from me, she's styled her hair and makeup really classic, something which wouldn't look out of place in Hollywood and then she's chosen a really glam dress with a cheeky twist to keep it young and relevant to her own style. The see through top is subtle and still pretty and the slit in the skirt isn't too risky, it just lets her flash enough skin (and her lovely shoes!)

Who's outfit was your favourite?!
