I don't want to jinx anything, but it looks like the sun is finally going to be making an appearance this weekend (fingers crossed!) so I have whipped out my palm tree jumpsuit! Granted, it's still slightly on the chilly side so I have layered up a little bit, but I am fond of the layered look so I'm not really complaining.

I've seen quite a lot of palm tree prints in the shops this season, and although I would usually be drawn to the more monochrome toned prints, this one really jumped out at me. Red isn't a colour I wear very often (or at all), so it makes a real change to have something bright in my wardrobe, obviously I've accessorised with black and grey, but I don't think I'd feel right if I wasn't wearing something plain too!
I don't like to be too bare up top (I keep the ladies concealed!) so I chose my favourite top for layering from Topshop to pop underneath, and I really like the easy, casual effect it adds to the jumpsuit. I've had so much wear out of this tee, it's become such a staple for me, I definitely need to grab a couple more in black and white.

I need to mention the fact that this jumpsuit is oh so comfy. The only jumpsuits I've worn in the past have been more on the dressier side and it makes such a wonderful change to wear one in a more dressed down way. It's one of those pieces of clothing I feel like I can just throw on and be ready to go... I'll definitely be rocking this over and over throughout the Summer months.

I'm not one to wear much jewellery, usually just a necklace if anything, but I didn't want to look over the top with the statement print. I decided to skip the jewellery altogether and just add the studded belt to break up the print. I've planned an outfit for next week where I'm going to throw a jumper on top of the jumpsuit so I will probably add a chunky necklace to that look.

How would you style this?
