Does anyone else get the feeling with monthly favourites that they're making their life fly by faster than it should be?! I always get that 'oh my gosh another month gone' feeling... it's quite scary how fast the time goes. Some months I hardly even get to try new products and just seem to continue using the previous month's faves, but June was a good 'un!
Benefit They're Real Push Up Liner just had to get a mention in my favourites, as it has completely transformed my thoughts on eyeliner. I never wear eyeliner mainly due to the fact that I really struggle to apply it, but this has made life SO much easier. I don't want to go into too much detail as I have a whole post of it's own prepared to go live in a few days time, but basically the bendy tip is the best invention ever... the gel liner comes out of the tip of the liner as it flexes and bends to get really close to the lash line and around the curve of the eye. There is definitely something magical about it... if I can apply this, anyone can!
Apivita Suncare Face Cream is something that I bring out every time the sun shines and add into my makeup routine to protect my skin. It is SPF50 which is just perfect for my pale skin, and the fact that it is aimed towards sensitive skin makes it even more of a winner! Not only does this protect my skin, I fins that it leaves my skin feeling really soft and when applied before my makeup it doubles up as a primer - such a bonus!
Models Own Pro Matte Base Coat was a bit of an accidental purchase (I actually thought I was buying a mint green polish - oops!) but I'm so glad I made the mistake, because it's really good! I've never used a base coat before, but now I know why people do use them... I always assumed it was just an extra time consuming step for painting my nails which I didn't really need, but it does make such a difference. Polish applies so much smoother and lasts so much longer on the nails with this, I'm never going to skip the base coat again.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Instant Radiance ' Radiant Rose' is a little something I found in the pound shop, and just couldn't leave behind. Little did I know I would be picking up something I'd be reaching for more often than not! It's a creamy highlighting blush which looks wonderful on the skin, it blends so easily and has a beautiful sheen finish to it. The colour is really natural and suits my skin tone perfectly. I apply this with my fingers underneath and on top of my foundation depending on the kind of look I want to go for... I can't actually believe I got this for £1, such a bargain!
Rituals Happy Buddah Shower Foam is something I've heard a lot about in the blogging world, and everyone seems to love them. It's taken me a while to jump on the hype and now I wish I had done sooner! Firstly, this smells incredible, it's really citrus and fresh which I just love as a wake me up on a morning in the shower. Secondly, the best thing about this is that it's a foam, something which is completely new for me. I only use a tiny amount and it foams up loads to cover my whole body when added to the water, which is good to know as it is a little pricier than other shower gels, so knowing a little goes a long way is definitely a plus. It refreshes and moisturises my skin and leaves a lingering fruity scent behind... I definitely need to try more of these.
Bourjois Java Rice Powder is another long term favourite of mine, I first used this last year when it was very first released and kind of fell in love with it and it has been a part of my makeup routine ever since. I ran out last month, and reintroduced it in June and the small break from using it made me realise just how much of a difference it actually makes. Although subtle, when applied across the cheekbones and down the bridge of the nose, this adds a light highlight which blends out to make it appear really natural, and when dusted allover the face it gives a slight glow to the face.
