On a sunny Summer's day, there is no place I would rather spend my time than Scarborough... a beautiful seaside holiday town on the coast of North Yorkshire. After spending endless days there as a child, it's always nice to go back and relive the things I used to do with Elodie, it's lovely to see everything again through her eyes. We've been on the open top buses, to the funfair, built sandcastles on the beach and Elodie went on a giant trampoline on the seafront. If you follow me on Instagram you may have seen some little snaps of these things.

I always think the best parts of a day in Scarborough are the fish and chips and the ice cream (it's always about the food!) I went to my favourite restaurant in town The Golden Grid for my fish and chips and then to an American Diner for ice cream on the sea front.
Elodie's favourite thing to do is visit the funfair and she always drags me on the big wheel (which terrifies me) but I feel like it's the one thing I have to make myself do to let her enjoy the day as much as possible, she finds it hilarious whenever we stop near the top and I panic a little!

I vlogged a little bit of our day in Scarborough, and will be editing and uploading the video tomorrow, so if you're not already, please go and subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don't miss the video. I am trying to blog every week or two and I film beauty videos and hauls in between.

Where do you like to visit to remind you of your childhood?
