Everyone knows the men in your life are always the most difficult to buy for... and with only 20 days until the big day (how has that happened?!) I decided to share some of my favourite present ideas for the man in your life; your boyfriend, husband, dad, brother etc, hopefully there will be something here to help you out.

The Oral-B Pro 650 electric toothbrush is a great present idea, as first of all, it's really affordable (currently on offer for £37 from here) and it's such a great present to give... everyone needs a toothbrush! This is aimed towards men with the sleek black and white handle, and thanks to my boyfriend having the same brush, I know it's really effective at giving a deep clean, it has angled bristles and 3D pulsation and rotation cleaning to get rid of plaque and food that's lodged in hard to reach places. It's also chargeable and the brush heads are interchangeable if you want to share the brush, or just keep buying new heads to make it last longer. He will definitely think you've spent more than you have if you buy him one of these!

If you need a pressie for any man who's jumped on the beard trend, then the Beard Grooming Kit could be a cute, jokey little extra that's useful all at the same time. It comes in a little travel size tin and contains beard oil, moustache wax, a comb and scissors - everything he needs to keep his beard looking and feeling it's best.

Selfy Stick is a one of those presents he will open and instantly want to start using... imagine the fun you will have snapping photos throughout the day, and even more fun looking back on the pictures. This is a very current gift, and they're only cheap... a great little stocking filler to add to his pile of pressies.

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas if you don't receive at least one set of new smellies, one of my favourite things to do on Christmas evening is pamper myself with my new goodies, and I'm sure lots of men are the same. One of the best sets I've seen this year is the Ralph Lauren Gift Set. They're packaged really nicely, and come in different scents (so there should be something to suit everyone's taste) containing a 75ml Eau de Toilette and a 200ml shower gel, this will impress men of all ages.

Just like the smellies, I think every man expects socks for Christmas, so you might as well make sure you're giving him good ones! This three-pack from House of Fraser is branded (Paul Smith) and come in a lovely gift box, which not only looks good, but makes them easy to wrap - can't go wrong!

If your man isn't into the run of the mill gift sets, maybe treat him to the Clarins Grooming Essentials Collection, maybe for more of a beauty conscious male who enjoys a good bit of grooming time, or maybe you want to introduce skincare into his routine, this is perfect. The kit includes moisture balm, eye serum, shaving foam and an exfoliating cleanser which all come in a really smart washbag. The set is worth over £60, so you're saving almost 50% buying the kit.

If your man likes a gadget, then maybe he'll like a smartphone projector... just attach your phone and this will project images and video onto the wall... who wouldn't want an at home cinema?!

Last on the list had to be chocolate, and I was completely drawn in by the Chilli Chocolate Penguins from Hotel Chocolat... he'll probably receive plenty of the same tins and boxes of chocolates from the supermarket, so this is a little different... something with a bit of flavour and of course, they're really festive!

Have you completed your shopping yet?
I'm almost done... I'll be getting the last few bits through the week!
