Forget The Oscars, I'm more interested in the Elle Style Awards!
There were some really beautiful dresses on the red carpet, this year saw a complete mixture and variety of styles and colours.
Diane Kruger and Olivia Wilde went for muted, girly dresses.
Diane's contrasting dress of floaty and structured lace is really beautiful, I love the pink and white colour palette with the subtle silver detailing which was tied in with complimenting silver shoes and bag. This is the perfect pretty, prom style look.
Olivia's dress is by H&M believe it or not! The simple top against the printed flowing skirt is unlike anything else worn by any of the other celebrities and it looks incredible. The metallic waistband adds a little something extra, and Olivia's simple hair and makeup look lovely... this is definitely my favourite outfit of the night.
Abbey Clancy proved that being pregnant doesn't stop you from looking good! The layered monochrome dress is cute and quirky, which when teamed with understated accessories works really well.
Daisy Lowe worked gothic glamour in the best way possible, I love the sheer panels of the dress with work to break up the all black look, and the layers and textures just make the outfit even more interesting.
Jessie Ware's outfit is probably going to be quite a controversial one, I think it's a bit of a love/hate kind of look, but personally I love it. The dress is another which mixes fabrics, textures and patterns, but because of the basic black and grey palette, it works really well.
Isabeli Fontana looked absolutely stunning from her hair, to her makeup and her dress. I love the light floral pattern against the sheer black fabric of the dress and the high neck and long sleeves give the outfit a very classy yet still sexy vibe. This almost beats Olivia Wilde's dress for me, the only thing I don't love is the yellow/gold clutch.
Taylor Swift was the most photographed celebrity at the awards. I've heard quite a few people saying they don't like her choice of dress, and while it's not something I would choose to wear myself, I think she can do no wrong, she looks amazing. I love the colour of the dress, teamed with the smokey makeup, slick hair and chunky shoes, it's no wonder everyone's talking about Taylor!
Last but not least, Atlanta De Cadanet's outfit was pretty much the opposite to Diane Kruger's, yet I love it just as much. It's another prom style dress, but this is the bad girl version in comparison to Diane's princess dress! The mesh and puffy skirt are very 80's and with the bold print and chunky boots it' a real statement outfit.
Who's outfit did you like the best?
