Kimono & Shoes: Mango | Top & Jeans: Blue Inc | Sunglasses: Matalan

Hello again! This feels a bit strange to be blogging so many times in a week, maybe I've finally got my blogging mojo back!

A few years ago I would have said the more I had in my wardrobe, the better, but these days I'm all about the transitional and versatile pieces that I can wear Summer and Winter or dress up and down depending on how I style them. This turtle neck top is exactly that, the pretty, dusky pink shade is lovely for Summer but will also look great with greys for the colder months, and it's such a bargain, I might have to snap up the blue version too.

For a casual day taking Elodie to visit family and to the park last weekend I paired the top with my black ripped jeans (the latest ripped jeans to join my collection), comfy shoes and the monochrome kimono which has hardly left my back since I bought it (which is in the sale now for a bargain £12.49!)
Light layering and simple textures are a great way to change up an outfit for Summer and this outfit is so easy to wear with no accessorising really needed, just throw it on and go - perfect for when I've got lots to do.

Today is my last day of three off work, so I'm trying to get the house all tidied, plus catch up on my emails and get some blog posts written before I have to collect Elodie from school... it's her last day of reception today so I need to make it a productive one!
