Everyone needs a little (or a lot) of Charlotte Tilbury in their lives, and for my first purchase (ages ago, sorry I'm just getting round to writing about this now) I went with the multi use Beach Stick in 'Es Vedra', an orange toned red with slight golden shimmer which Charlotte herself describes as a 'mystic sunset coral'.

In it's trademark beautiful rose gold Charlotte Tilbury packaging, this is the perfect handbag sized product, which simply twists up and down for use, similar to the Nars Multiples. They're perfect for on the go top ups, as there's no need for any brushes, you just apply from the bullet and blend with you fingers. They can be used on the lips and on the cheeks, it has a really creamy, easily bendable texture with a fairly matte, yet radiant finish. On the lips it's really hydrating and soft, yet on the cheeks they don't budge - CT has got the balance perfect with this formula!

Although Beach Sticks were a Summer release, and were originally marketed towards taking on holiday, I think they're useable all year round - who says a coral lip can't be worn in November?!
In the picture above I am wearing Es Vedra on my cheeks and lips, as you can see it has blended out perfectly on the cheek to give a natural flush, and on the lips the colour is much more intense.

Not only are the beach sticks amazing due to their portability and ease of application (literally twist up, swipe and blend) but because they contain ceramidone, an ingredient which plumps the skin to give a youthful appearance... Have you even used a cream product on the lips or cheeks before and noticed they can sometimes highlight scars or lines? Well you won't get any of that with this! They also contain creamy polymers to moisturise the skin and a fusion of high melting-point waxes which hydrate the skin.

The Beach sticks are available in five shades, some of which can also be used to contour and bronze the skin... I'm definitely going to pick up a couple more of these next time I'm at my local counter.
