Being a blogger and reading beauty blogs can be quite dangerous when it comes to spending money, I do always make a conscious effort to be good, not to buy things 'just because' and really think about my purchases, especially when it comes to makeup. Sometimes a treat is necessary though, and lately there are quite a few products really playing on my mind!

Nars & Steven Klein One Shocking Moment Palette - This is currently at the very top of my wish list, along with the rest of the Nars & Steven Klein collection, it's all so stunning! This palette in particular though is the stand out item from the range for me. It includes four blushes, a contouring duo and Laguna bronzer, basically the whole face in one place! I'm a huge fan of Nars already, all of the blushes I own are hugely pigmented and apply wonderfully on the skin, I definitely need more! The selection of colours in this set make it perfect for all year round, daytime or nighttime, it's really universal and the packaging is gorgeous too!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Illuminator - I would happily take one of these in any shade but Starlight is on my hit list right now. I've seen so many people blogging about these lately and they just look SO beautiful, almost too good to actually use, but believe me, I would use these! I love the whole strobing trend, highlighters are my favourite products to experiment with at the moment, and these really are the highlighters to have! Anastasia say that the 'finely milled peralescent formula lends light without shimmer', so there's no disco ball effect, just pure glow on the skin - perfect.

Kevin Aucoin Sculpting Powder - This has been talked about for years as one of the 'must have' products in the beauty blogging world and I'm all for a good contour or sculpted cheek for a night out. I have swatched this when I've been in Space NK in Newcastle and the colour is so great for my skin tone, it blends to look really natural, it isn't orange in the slightest and the texture of the powder is so silky and soft, you can really tell it's something special.

Becca Afterglow Palette - When I'm travelling, I don't have many miniatures to take away and usually end up with a huge makeup bag or two packed tight with all of my daily products, which is where this palette would come in handy. It includes five minis of the Shimmering Skin Perfectors (see below) in three shades and two Mineral Blushes. This would be such a great gift idea for Christmas too!

Illamasqua Radiance Veil - As a huge lover of Illamasqua as a brand and so many of their products, I have been thinking about buying this for a while. The way they describe it on the website sells it to me completely: 'part primer, part illuminator, Radiance Veil enhances makeup wear through it's unique velvet creme formula. Key ingredient Vitamin C provides moisturising benefits whilst the fine shimmer particles inject light onto the skin, adding a luminous effect.' Seriously how amazing does this sound? It's like everything I look for, for my skin all rolled into one product! Imagine mixing this with your foundation for a striking evening look too...

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit - Another palette of powders, blushers and a bronzer, but just look how pretty, and it includes an exclusive strobing powder - this is why I have to have it! I've been dreaming of the Hourglass blushes for years now since I had a little play with them in Liberty but I've never settled on which one to buy (this palette solves that issue!) They're so different to other blushes,  you get a really three dimensional look with them, and the radiance they give off on the skin is beautiful.

Glamglow Thirstymud Treatment - After using the original Glamglow and truly loving it, when they released the extreme moisture version directed at people with dry skin, I knew it was something I needed to try. This is described as a 'thirst-quenching hit in a jar' and with ingredients including hyaluronic acid, citric acid, olive leaf and coconut oil this works to hydrate, brighten, condition and revive the skin - my skin needs this, it's not a want, it's a need!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector - This is a creamy powder luminizer, created by 'blending pigments with liquid binders which results in unparalleled creamy application with balanced colour dispersion', and if that's not a statement, I don't know what is! If you're heard about Becca's liquid illuminators in the past, this is basically a pressed version of those, more portable and easier to apply on the go. It just sounds like a dream to wear and apply, and from what I have read it's really long lasting with just as much glow to the skin happening at the end of the day as there was when it was first applied. I've been eyeing up the Moonstone shade, it looks like the perfect shade to create a natural looking, but better highlight.

Anastasia Beverly Hills DipBrow Pomade - I think you all know how much of an obsession I have with brows, so it may come as a surprise to you (I'm still shocked about it) that I've never tried the brow product which everyone raves about; DipBrow Pomade! Believe me, it's not because I haven't wanted to, it's purely because I haven't made the splurge yet... I'm kind of hoping someone may wrap one up for Christmas for me so that I don't have to feel so guilty about making such an extravagant purchase on myself! From what I have heard, it's completely worth the price, and because so little product is actually needed, price per use probably makes it a much more justified purchase.

What products are you lusting after at the moment?
