Now that Easter is over and all of the chocolate has been eaten (seriously I think I ate enough for about five people!) it's time to think about getting fit again. For me, this starts with adding to my gym wardrobe!

I used to think that workout clothes were going to break the bank a bit, but these days going to the gym is kind of 'trendy' for want of a better word. This works in everyone's favour though, because it means that the majority of high street and online brands now offer activewear or have some description of a fitness section available making everything a lot more accessible and in most cases, cheaper and more affordable.

Firstly, taking the blogger obsession of marble print to the extreme is this marble print hoodie from Boohoo... on paper I'd expect to hate this, but I actually love it! If you can't wear something a little extreme or out of your usual comfort zone in the gym, then when can you?! Which leads me to the panel printed running leggings from Matalan... I actually think bright leggings are a gym necessity!

I know, I know, another hoodie, but everyone needs a couple of them for the gym! The zip through hoodie from Pink Soda at JD Sports is much plainer than the first I mentioned, but just as nice... I love the blocks of muted colour, it would look great with a really bright top underneath.
I have my eye on the breathable yoga vest from Boohoo to go under the marble hoodie, I also love that it matches the Nike trainers I have pictured perfectly!
Another must have are the printed sports leggings from Matalan (obviously Matalan is the place to go for gym leggings!), I especially love these because they're not as in your face, but the navy and black marble print is really cool and will work well with brighter tops.

I'm also wanting to add a sports bra to my collection to give me that motivation to sort out my abs so that I feel confident enough to actually wear one. I've tagged this colourful number from the Little Mix and USA Pro collaboration, I could just list the whole collection because I love it all, but I've restrained myself to the top and the pink zircon trainers, teamed with black leggings and the top they will make the ideal gym outfit (that little bit of bright and in your face which just works for workout clothes!)

A few weeks ago when browsing my local Schuh store I picked up the lilac Nike Air Max Thea trainers and instantly needed them... my boyfriend made me put them back but they're still really playing on my mind. Not only are they practical and necessary (right?), I'd be able to wear these outside of the gym too, they'd look so good with a split side maxi or jeans and cute tee for the Summer. I'm definitely going to work on convincing him that they need to be mine!
Lastly and sorry again, another pair of trainers (the obsession is real!) are the Skechers memory foam trainers which are from the Brantano Athleisure collection, I love the colour of these, but mostly I love the fact that they have memory foam in the insole... how amazing and comfortable does that sound?! Definitely a must have for cardio days when my feet are usually aching by the end of the session.

Where do you buy your fitness clothes from and what brands would you recommend?
