Mother's Day seems to come around quicker each year, and with less than a week to go until the big day, I thought I'd share a few last minute gift ideas with you if you're struggling for inspiration... it seems to get tougher each year! For me, there's no better feeling than spoiling my Mam and Gran, just seeing their faces when they open their presents makes my day, they're so good to me and I love to treat them.

If you want to stay away from the traditional flowers and chocolates or find something extra to go alongside them, then hopefully something here will be right for the lady you're buying for.
If your Mum likes her candles, treat her to the Couvent des Minimes candle, it's bright and beautiful and the orange blossom scent is ideal for Spring time.

Who doesn't love to receive Lush goodies? You know you're safe treating her to pretty much anything from their Mother's Day range, my top picks being the Yummy Mummy Shower Gel and Flowering Tea Bubble Bar. I had the shower gel last year, it's a really relaxing scent with ingredients including geranium oil, orange oil and cocoa butter, so if your mama deserves a bit of relaxation time, this is the one for her. Team it with the bubble bar which is packed with enrol and rosewood oils and little petals which will add a little luxury to a normal bath night.

A gift I would personally love (and will definitely be keeping for myself) is the Melvita comforting hand cream, with ingredients including honey, sunflower seed oil and shea butter, it's incredibly nourishing and will be a welcome addition to any woman's handbag. Melvita is a natural, organic and cruelty free brand too.

For a woman who likes a bit of glamour, the Joan Collins Timeless Beauty nail polish would be an ideal gift, as would any of the other products from her beauty range. There's a great selection of colours available, the polishes apply wonderfully and last well without chipping. An added bonus is just how beautiful the packaging is, it's really striking and definitely looks like something special.

Lastly for the beauty bits, a real treat would be the Aroma Works nurture body oil...not only does this smell incredible but it feels great on the skin and leaves it super soft. Using this gives a really relaxing aromatherapy experience which claims to release stress and help find your inner calm, so if your Mum is a worrier or she just works too hard, this would be ideal for her.

For something none beauty related, Paperchase have a gorgeous range of floral gifts ideal for Mother's Day... I chose the writing set to give to my Mam on Sunday, but if yours isn't the letter writing type, there are photo albums, bags, photo albums and even gardening tools to name just a few bits! They also have a huge range of cards if you haven't bought yours yet.

And finally, how about this vintage cake stand, it's quirky, it's different and maybe something to buy for that person who seems to have everything already?! This would be appreciated by someone who likes to bake, enjoys having friends round for tea and cake or even for a beauty enthusiast to add to her dressing table, it would look so pretty with perfume bottles or lipsticks displayed on it.

What are you buying for your Mum and Gran this year?
