Beauty Boxes have been in our lives for quite a few years now and they just keep getting better! If you're looking to subscribe, it's got to be the Look Fantastic Beauty Box, right?!

The May box arrived at my doorstep last week in a beautifully presented turquoise box and I just couldn't wait to open it up... It really is like Christmas day opening it up each month to see what goodies are inside.
This month's box is created to celebrate beautiful you, with the products inside catered to help grow and show off the beauty you were born with. Some of the brands inside are those I am familiar with, and some are new, which really is the beauty of a beauty box, they allow you to experiment and try things you may never have known about otherwise.

Firstly the box contained some sample sized products; Ren Wake Wonderful Night Time Facial; an overnight skin treatment which offers exfoliation, reinvigoration and hydration while you sleep. Although I've never used this before, I have used a lot of products from Ren and I am always impressed with how they work for my skin. So far I have only used this twice and it definitely leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturised and plumper when I wake up.
Another brand I am familiar with is Vichy, although again I have never tried their Liftactive Moisturiser. This works to combat any signs of anti ageing (gimme it all!) and intensely moisturises the skin throughout the day. The little pot contains a lot of product, and I can see this lasting me a while as I am only using a tiny amount each morning after I have cleansed.

Another moisturising product in the box is the IOMA Optimum Moisture Cream, which is a brand and a product I have never heard of before. This contains Vitamin C which helps to reveal a younger looking complexion and biotechnology which will boost cellular activity within the skin. I haven't tried this yet, as it is packaged in seven little sample sachets - ideal to take away on holiday, so I am saving this for when I go away later in the year. And last but not least for the moisturisers is the Decleor Intense Nutrition Cream, another brand I have never had the pleasure of trying until now! This is formulated with cranberry and Argan oils to nourish the skin and Avocado oil to help reconstruct the skin barrier and help to improve skin quality.
I do find it a little odd that the box contains four moisturising products, it would probably have been nicer to receive a bit more of a mix, however I am really enjoying the two I have used so far, and I know I'll use the others too as my skin needs all of the moisture it can get!

Something I am really excited to use is the Eve Lom Cleanser sample which comes with a muslin cloth. This is a high-end version of the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, which is one of my favourite ever beauty products... This decongests and softens the skin while leaving a highly receptive base for your beauty products to be applied onto. I haven't got round to using this yet, again I think I might save it for when I'm spending a night away in London next month.
Another exciting product is the Uniq One All In One Coconut Hair Treatment... Firstly I love anything coconut scented, so to me, it's already a winner. I have been applying few spritz's of this to my damp hair before brushing through (with the next product I received in the box) and then drying and styling as normal. This is a bit of a wonder product which tames frizz, repairs dry/damaged hair, prevents split ends, provides heat protection and so much more. Although I've only used this a few times and haven't seen any of these factors yet, I can tell you it does make my hair smell and feel amazing after use.

My favourite thing in the box is the full size Wet Brush in a beautiful purple colour. I have been wanting to try one of these for so long now and I'm so glad to finally have one! If you haven't heard of these before, they are a hairbrush designed to use on... you guessed it, wet (or dry) hair. This detangles without breaking your hair and the flexible bristles massage the scalp to help stimulate hair growth.

Finally to make themselves stand out in the crowded world of subscription boxes, Look Fantastic are also including the current issue of Elle Magazine in every box. Such a huge bonus gift, especially to me as I don't really buy magazines anymore, I usually just read online and I actually miss having something to pick up and flick through.

Each month the box will include a minimum of six products with a selection of skincare, haircare, cosmetics and body products and the contents of the box are always worth over £50 in total.
If you would like to subscribe for yourself or as a gift to someone and have one of these beautiful boxes delivered to your door every month you can sign up for one, three, six or twelve months on the Look Fantastic website, signing up for 12 months will only cost you £11.25 per box, what a bargain!
