Lip crayons are fast becoming my favourite lip product, they're mess free, stress free and come in such wonderful formulas and shades. Check my handbag and you're sure to find one or two in there somewhere... Without doubt my favourite on the go lippie!

The newest lip product release from L'Oreal is the Sexybalm Lip Crayons; available in eight beautiful shades (three bold and five delicate/sheer colours). I have been testing out two of each variety and couldn't wait to share my thoughts on here.

The Sexybalms are packed with moisture so are really smooth to apply thanks to the moisturising gel balm they are enriched with and despite being moisturising you'll be pleased to hear that they aren't sticky in the slightest and leave the lips feeling soft all day long. They have quite a weightless feel on the lips so are really comfortable to wear and the lip definer tip makes precise application a breeze. Also, if you're one of those people (like myself) who thinks the smell and taste of a lip product really matters, then you won't be disappointed with these, a sweet/fruity scent overpowers anything else.
The bold shades have impressed me the most, they're really highly pigmented and although there are only three shades available, the team at L'Oreal have proved they know their stuff and have picked the shades so well!
I've been finding myself wearing the shade 'Neverstop' a lot. It's a pinky orange shade, which reminds me a lot of Mac Costa Chic lipstick just slightly darker and maybe a touch more neon when applied, it's a beautiful bright yet really wearable Summery shade.
I also received 'Yala Yolo' which is a deep red colour, it's one of those red shades which will suit most people's skin tones and is definitely a great place to start if you're looking for your perfect every day red.
The sheer shades are beautiful too, and great for a gal on the go, you can easily apply these without a mirror to give your lips a top up throughout the day.
As worn by Cheryl Cole/FV I have 'Gossip' which is a really glossy, peachy nude shade... Dare I say it, 'your lips but better' springs to mind, such an easy to wear colour when you don't want to look like you've tried very hard, or even for school or work if you're not supposed to be wearing much makeup.
Lastly I have 'Go Pretty Or Go Home' (which gets the award for the best name!) a shiny pink/purple colour which is ideal for someone who wants to be a bit braver with their lip colour choices but doesn't want to wear a fully opaque berry lip... I kind of see this as a Summery take on the berry trend.

Which shade is your favourite?
