Sun's out, legs out! Let me introduce you to part two of my collaboration with Apricot, where I'm styling some of their holiday pieces (you can find part one here). You may have already seen a sneak peek of this outfit on my Snapchat, but here it is in all of it's glory.

I feel like this dress has taken me back to basics a little bit when it comes to Summer dressing, I've been living in separates and a lot of monochrome lately but this is definitely a 'me' dress. I used to pretty much live in dresses and boots or a chunky shoe and now I remember why - this is so easy to wear, no fuss, so easy.
I love the feather print of this and the colours are beautiful... It's colourful without being too in your face or OTT (although it does come in a few other colour options if you're partial to a bit of the bright side). The silver zip detailing gives it a little bit of an edge, and the elasticated waist guarantees it will cinch you in and give you a bit of shape which is always flattering.

This is the kind of thing I'd wear with a leather jacket to a gig or with flip flops to the beach, heck I'd even brave it in Autumn with tights and a cardi, it could become a real go-to piece for my wardrobe. I've styled it as simply as possible here by adding some simple black accessories to go for a walk in the woods and an ice cream with my friend... It was too hot (yes really!) to add the leather I would have usually teamed with this combo, but I'm sure you can imagine it that way too.

I feel as though I have to apologise for the location of these pictures again... If anyone knows of any photographers or if you yourself would be able to help me with shooting some outfits for my blog anytime soon I would love you to get in touch. I feel like I need to up my photography game a bit and I've found some amazing locations recently! I just need someone other than my tripod and self timer to take the pics for me!
