If you have a Secret Santa to buy for this year, or are in need of a few ideas for filling up a last minute stocking for someone, then I have lots of ideas for you. Whether you're looking for beauty products or something a little more outside the box, then look no further, I have some great present ideas to suit everyone's tastes.
Lots of brands release products aimed at being stocking fillers this time of year, they're marketed and packaged towards Christmas and always make such lovely little extras.
L'Occitane have beautiful metal baubles that can be hung from your tree, available in three beautiful, festive designs. Best of all the baubles all contain four mini products including shower gels, soaps and hand creams, which are always of amazing quality.
Roger & Gallet have also packaged up their hand cream in a red and gold festive box, which comes with a little matching perfume sample too and is still available to pick up in M&S.
Lip Smacker have gone with the bauble style packaging for their lip balms too, with each pack containing four fun flavours of balm - I love these fizzy drink flavoured ones, they make such a cute and fun stocking filler for any age.
For smaller makeup products there are endless ideas...
Seventeen make up is really affordable and always of really great quality (they have fast become one of my favourite drugstore brands!) and the Sparkle & Shine Lip Gloss Collection would be a wonderful present idea for someone who just starting to build their makeup collection, a youngster who is wanting to start experimenting, or any girl who loves her lip products - because who can have too many, really?!
Pixi have really impressed me with their Christmas collection this year... Their packaging is so cute, with a vintage style holly design added to their usual green boxes. My favourite piece of theirs for a stocking or Secret Santa has to be their Fairy Dust Favourites, a stack of five beautiful shades of super fine eye powders ranging from matte black to a cream shade and three browns in-between... Perfect for those who love a natural smokey eye.
Kiko have released a fantastic line of festive makeup products this year, all packaged in Christmassy red casing and I could give you a reason to buy each and every one of them, not just for your Secret Santa, but for yourself too. Their beautiful glitter nail polishes are amazing quality, and would make a brilliant little stocking filler for any woman though... You just can't go wrong with glitter!
If you haven't dabbled in the world of Tanya Burr Cosmetics yet, her Baby It's Cold Outside palette is the perfect and very seasonal place to start. Boxed in icy blue packaging and decorated with sparkly snowflakes it's so Wintery, but the products inside are serious allrounders. Not only do you get the beautiful coral/pink lipgloss, but also a huge coral/bronze shade blush and complementing highlight. This is also currently on offer in Superdrug for only £7.
Bath bombs are one of those must have presents for some people... probably most people if I'm honest, I mean, who doesn't love them?! Superdrug have hit the nail on the head with this cute pack of bath fizzers, containing six delicious sounding bombs including coconut & white peach, lime & ginger and cherry & almond scents - how amazing do they sound?! They are also on offer for... wait for it... £3! Maybe this last minute shopping stuff is a good idea after all!
If you need a pressie for someone who likes to be a little bit quirky, who likes to experiment with accessories or who enjoys festivals, then the huge selection of Toni & Guy Hair Accessories will be sure to have something to suit them. Personally, I'm really into the hair chains, they give off a real modern boho kind of vibe, but if that's not you thing, there are plenty of bows, clips and bands to choose from.
Every year I turn to Dot Com Gift Shop for those little extra presents that you can't find elsewhere. I can almost guarantee that I'll be able to pick up presents for everyone I need on they site alone, and the service and quality is always top notch, so placing big orders with them doesn't phase me at all, in fact it fills me with relief.
This year I ordered a really cute, vintage floral print glasses case that will be perfect for my Mam... It comes in lots of other designs too. I also got my hands on the sweet little polka dot pot of pencil crayons. These are for Elodie, but they would make a lovely little extra for anyone who's jumped on the colouring book hype this year.
Another completely random idea, also from Dot Com Gift Shop is this Back Scratching and Shoe Horn Tool... If you need a bit of a jokey (yet very practical) present for a male friend or relative, this could be a good one. I love the old fashioned packaging too, it makes it seem that little bit more special I think.
I also love the idea of receiving the gorgeous Bake Me I'm Yours Christmas Book from Ideal World. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets really into baking around Christmas time, and there are some seriously delicious looking recipes to try in here... Some of them seem so simple too, and are perfect for doing with the children over the school holidays.
Jelly Belly best know for their tasty sweets have expanded into the world of beauty and this cute jelly bean shaped tin of flavoured Lip Balms is another great little gift idea for a younger family member - If the flavours are anything like their sweet varieties, they're going to be really yummy!
How could I not include some edible stocking fillers?! After all, everyone relies on Christmas to stock them up with lots of naughty treats, right?!
Another gift idea from Jelly Belly is their Bean Boozled Game... Something personally I would be a little apprehensive to play (but I am a self confessed wimp!) However I know some people would just love this... It could be the most fun game you've ever played after your Christmas lunch with the family. Some of the flavours sound really great... Others, not so much! Would you play? I mean, just look at some of those flavours!!
For someone a little more conservative, Dragonfly Tea English Breakfast Tea would make a lovely treat, with the tea leaves being sourced from all around the world. This comes beautifully packaged and is available in lots of flavours if you're buying for someone a little more adventurous!
Of course Thorntons have lots of chocolatey treats available at this time of year, my favourite for a stocking being the gorgeous Snowman & The Snowdon themed Crispy Chocolate Snowballs... Seriously, they're so tasty! I'd recommend getting a bag of everyone and a few extras for yourself.
Last but definitely not least Cadburys have so many ideas for chocolate Christmas gifts this year, all as delicious as the rest. There are Santa treats aimed at the young ones, Dairy Milk baubles, selection boxes, Snow Bites and even the never ending Wispa bar. I'm 100% a Cadburys girl, and would love to find any of these in my stocking this year.
Only three days to go!!
