To all those men out there panicking about buying some last minute gifts for the lady in your life... Chill. There is still time and I have got some beautiful gift ideas for the beauty loving lady or ladies (of course I mean your girlfriend and your Mum) in your life.
High Definition Beauty are one of my favourite beauty brands, who have released two beauty gift sets for Christmas this year. First up, the Brow Essentials set which contains their famous brow and eye palette, Brow Define eyebrow pencil and the Brow Beater eyebrow setting gel. Any girl who loves her brows on fleek would be more than happy to find this under her tree... It's also available in three shades, so there should be a set to suit any colouring.
The other set is the Lip Essentials, with three stunning lip glosses; two being best sellers and one being brand new and exclusive to the gift set. Liquid lipsticks are all the rage right now, and these are some of the best formulas that I have tried.
A brand who always get Christmas gifting just right is Clarins, and I am SO impressed with their Double Serum Collection this year. Boxed in the really pretty Christmas cookie design packaging this collection includes a full size Double Serum, Beauty Flash Balm (this stuff is so good!) and their Hand & Nail Treatment Cream all inside a really big sized bright red wash bag. Even better you get the whole set for the price of the Double Serum alone - bargain!
Any skincare or beauty lover would be more than excited to receive this.
Every girl needs shampoo, so to be bought a really fancy set like the Paul Mitchell Indulge & Smooth Hair Set would be sure to go down well. The set includes the Awapuhi Wild Ginger MirrorSmooth Shampoo, Conditioner and High Gloss Primer, which all work perfectly together to balance the moisture in the hair, hydrate where needed and leave the hair silky, smooth and shiny.
An idea I always think of as quite personal, is creating a little bundle of beauty products to suit her personal taste, wrap it up nicely in a beauty bag or hamper of some sort and you've got a really nice gift.
How about buying a mixture of Elizabeth Grant skincare from Ideal World? All of Elizabeth's products contain natural sea vitamins, nutrients and minerals to help battle early signs of ageing, dehydration and overall skin condition. The packaging of these products is really glamorous, and will look really special on the dressing table.
You could also do something similar with products from Show Beauty. Pop along to your local stockist and buy two or more products, and they will box and beautifully gift wrap your choices. Their haircare is really top of the range and all of the packaging is really luxurious. There are so many products to choose from too, you'll definitely be able to find something she will love.
One gift I pick up a version of every single year for my Gran is the Yardley English Rose gift set, the scent never changes, and I know it's one that she loves but the set changes slightly every year, making it a new gift every time. This years set contains a 50ml eau de toilette and a matching body spray, both packaged with the beautiful rose design.
Although this might not be the kind of present you want to buy your Mum, I know some people would really love to receive the Veet Sensitive Precision Beauty Styler (just consider your relationship with whoever you're buying for first!) This is designed to use on delicate areas of skin such as the underarms, bikini line and eyebrows with cutting blades that don't touch the skin and therefore allow gentle yet quick styling and shaping... Really useful!
Wether you gift the entire pack to one lucky lady or split them up and share them out, the Next Boutique Beauty Crackers are one of my favourite gifts I've seen this year. They are really beautiful, not in traditional Christmas designs, but in varying floral designs, which you could distribute due to personal taste or just have them in the centre of the table. Whichever way you decide to gift these will work a treat, with prizes inside including hand creams, bubble bath and body lotions.
A brand that's completely new to me is Elemental Herbology, but from what I've seen already, I'm very impressed. Their Mandarin & Grapefruit Hand & Body Duo is a beautiful gift set, packaged in a strong rose gold and black box (I love the branding!)
Inside the box is a grapefruit and mandarin hand and body wash and a mandarin and geranium hand and body cream, both of which are 300ml in size and smell equally as amazing as the other.
As a brand, Elemental Herbology are completely natural and use various nutrients in all of their products to help give truly visible results... I can't wait to try more from them in the new year.
Lastly, if you'e buying for someone who deserves a bit of R&R or just a bit of a pamper now and again, give her the perfect excuse with the Mandara Spa Amber Heaven pampering honey bath.
As with all of they products, this is incredibly indulgent and smells beautiful... you can almost imagine yourself in one of their spas if you lie back and close your eyes with this in your bath.
Have you got all of your presents bought now?
I'll be out buying my last few bits tomorrow!
