It was my birthday last week and rather than film a haul style video showing you my lovely presents, I thought I'd stick to Vlogmas over on my YT channel and write a little blog post instead.

I was really lucky this year and received some wonderful presents from my family and friends. I hadn't asked for anything specific, so all of my gifts were complete surprises... and all amazing ones at that!
Everyone who has known me for longer than a day, knows how much of a sweet tooth I have, especially when it comes to chocolate... and this is only a fraction of all of the edible goodies I received. Lindt and Diam are two of my very favourites, so to get the big Diam gift set from Next and the box of Lindor balls was amazing. I also got boxes of biscuits, packets of Aero Mint balls, Munchies and more Lindt chocolate. I know it sounds like I've got a few weeks worth there, but it won't last that long, trust me!
Although not technically a birthday present, and more of a treat, Ray surprised me with a gorgeous black Kate Spade card holder from her recent visit to New York, and as she gave it to me just a few days before my birthday, I'm including it here! Not only does it match my KS handbag, but I have actually lost my previous card holder, so it was perfect timing to receive a new one.

My Dad took me shopping the day after my birthday so that I could choose something myself, as he's self admittedly not good with presents! I have been wanting a big leaning mirror for my office for ages now and we managed to find the exact one I was picturing in my head from The Range.
It's around 7ft tall, distressed white, with a baroque style frame and it's huge - there will be Insta shots a-plenty happening now! (I'll be showing you photos once it's out of the box and in place in my office).

My Mam bought me a camel Topshop coat around two months ago as my main birthday present from her (which I almost forgot to include, as I've been wearing it for so long now, I'm sure you've all seen me wearing it in my vlogs or on Insta!) Like my Dad, she prefers to be pointed in the right direction when it comes to pressies, and that's fine by me because I love my coat so much! She also got me a few little extras to open including an Oliver Bonas inspired 'T' initial makeup bag and a cake.
Lastly, Robbie did SO well this year... He never asks me what I want, and he purposely avoids buying me anything I hint at, as he likes to rally surprise me, which I secretly love as he's the best present buyer ever. He knows one of my favourite beauty brands is bareMinerals, so he was always going to be onto a winner with the stunning Be beautiful palette, which he picked out himself from the new Christmas collection. The palette includes ten matte shades for eyes and cheeks and it's so gorgeous, I can't wait to have a play with it.

He also surprised me with a black and white Chanel bag, tied with the classic Chanel ribbon... I couldn't wait to see what was inside! I have to admit, I was expecting it to be a makeup product, but I wasn't at all disappointed to find a big bottle of Chance perfume inside - a scent I have never had the pleasure of owning before... Such a treat!

Thank you to you all for your well wishes on Twitter and Instagram for my birthday - you're so lovely. Don't forget to check out my Instagram tonight too, as I am launching my big birthday giveaway!
