Rimmel are up there as one of my very favourite drugstore brands... The continuous new releases that always keep me going back, the amazing value and quality of the products and the dupes for higher end products that always impress.

I have been trailing a few of their most popular in order to share my views on them with you all, so if you fancy adding a few more must-have beauty bits to your wishlist then keep on reading because I can guarantee there are some things here that you will love!
I'm not a big fan of 'saving the best until last', so I'm going to start with the star of the show... The Magnifeyes eyeshadow palette in 'London Calling'. This palette contains eight powder eyeshadows, some matte, some shimmer, all of which can be mixed and matched to create lots of neutral eye looks.
The eyeshadows aren't the very best formula I have ever used, but they are still good, especially for the pice (the palettes retail at just £7.99). With the rose golds and bronze shades, so many of the colours are similar to those in my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, this is such a good alternative if you're not wanting to spend too much money. It's one of those palettes that has all of the shades you will need, wether you're wanting to create a subtle daytime look or something more dramatic for evening wear. I have been constantly reaching for mine this past month.
The only negative I have about this palette is that the first two shades (the lighter two) are so pale, that they are almost none existent, although I haven't tried them with a damp bush, which sometimes helps. Other than that, I just love it.
One product I received which I already have is the Kate Moss Sculpting Palette in 'Coral Glow'. I have spoken about this before and how amazing it is, it reminds me so much of the Urban Decay Flushed palette I have, just slightly less pigmented, making it more natural for every day wear.
The bronze and the highlight are the colours I reach for most often, with the bronze being a beautiful matte, ideal for creating a natural shadow on the face, and the highlight is slightly golden which really life my pale skin tone.
I was so excited to try another of the Kate Moss lipsticks; I already have four or five of these and they really are one of the very best high street lipsticks when it comes to pigmentation, formula and longevity of wear.
This one is from the collection released to celebrate Kate's 15 years as the face of Rimmel and is encased in a beautiful rose gold bullet. The shade is called 'Boho Nude' and is a orange/brown toned nude, that thanks to the brown tone to it, I was surprised to find works quite well with my skin tone. I think it will be something I reach for quite often throughout Spring when I want a more natural lip.
The Scandal Eyes Bold liquid liner is really unique, as the tip of the liner has a ball on the end, which helps to create a thicker line on the lid. This works really effectively, and as with other liquid liners I have used from Rimmel, the product applies really smoothly and is highly pigmented. I was able to create a really defined line with the ball shaped tip, but as I always say when I speak about eyeliners... I still need to get some practise in!
Lastly, another Rimmel mascara to add to my collection... This one is slightly different though, as it contains that product we're always putting on our hair - Argan Oil.
The Wonder'full mascara not only volumises and lengthens the lashes, but it conditions them as you wear it, helping to condition the lashes and make them much stronger.
The plastic brush separates the lashes as the mascara is applied meaning there is no clumping and everything looks natural but improved. As a self proclaimed mascara snob, this is one of my favourite drugstore mascaras ever.

I have to apologise that I have only been able to swatch these on my arm, rather than showing the products applied to my face as I usually would. I have terrible eczema around my eyes at the moment (thanks stress!) and I'm trying not to wear makeup while it gets better... As soon as I'm back to normal I will try my best to remember to add some photos of the makeup on, to this post.
