Interiors have been my passion for a long time now, and while this is great when it comes to decorating our house, it's not so great when as soon as all the rooms are complete, I find myself wanting to start allover again.

I love my bedroom at the moment (you may have seen it already in this blog post), it's grey and white with a few little hints of pink and copper - a bit cliche for a blogger, I know, but I really do love it's simplicity. Its one room in the house which has turned out exactly how I envisaged it, but now that it's done, I have been searching for inspiration on how to change it up again.
I'm not planning on a full on redecorate, but I think a little makeover could quite easily turn it into more of a fun room, something a little brighter with more personality.
I definitely want to add some prints to the wall above my bed, and I have the shelf ready to put up, I just need something to go on it! I love abstract art, and I'm really tempted by the pastel pieces from Nordstrom as well as all of the quote prints from Desenio (I want these for every room in my house!)

One more feature I really want to add to the room is a chair, and although I don't need one, or really think it would get much use, I do think it would add something to the space. The room is quite spacious too, so it could really work, the problem is, I'm tempted by so many different styles.

When it comes to bedding and soft furnishings, this is definitely the easiest way to change up the feel of a room. I love throws and I'm so tempted to buy some bright duvet covers to contrast the subtle decor of the room.
Comfort is of course paramount... Yorkshire Linen's Egyptian cotton sheets seem like a great choice to add a bit of luxury to the bedroom and I think by adding new blankets, pillows and sheets you can instantly feel like you're in a new bed - I live for those nights where I have fresh bedding to sleep in, there's no better feeling!

Accessorising the bedroom is also really fun and simple, plus there are so many amazing interior shops now, it's really affordable to mix and match things with the change in the seasons. I have so many candles, bowls and ornaments which I have picked up in places like Primark, Tiger and Home Bargains, refreshing a room becomes easy.

Plants are my favourite addition to a room at the moment, I have lots of coloured pots and plants which I always tend to pick up when I'm in Ikea that I can switch around now and again and they really make a difference. I love green succulents for the hallway and kitchen, and brighter plants for the living and bedrooms... As long as I have my tulips or peonies on my dressing table, I feel like my bedroom is complete.
