Gone are the days when people ask 'what is a blog', we are now well and truly in a time where blogging is normal and everyone wants a piece of the industry.
I know so many people who want to start a blog and if you're one of those people, then you really should do it. Don't hang around, just go for it, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
You will meet some amazing people.
I can't even begin tell you how many people I've met through blogging, there are so many people in my life who wouldn't be if it wasn't for That's Peachy and this is without doubt the best thing to come from my blog.
I have made life long friends who I see not only at blogging events, but in daily life and who I speak to almost every day. When you get to a certain age, you can feel as though it's difficult to meet new people and make new friends, but blogging makes it easy and building a network of fellow bloggers is really valuable.
I have also met owners and creators of brands and products, people who I really look up to and have had the honour of working with.

You will create something that can potentially make you stand out.
I am extremely proud of my blog, and it sits right at the top of my CV. When searching for jobs in the past and attending interviews, I always mention my blog and in relevant areas, it can really create interest and give me something that makes me different from other candidates.
I truly believe that my blog has helped me to get jobs in the past.
As my t-shirt says... The Future Is Female, it's all about being a girl boss!
Your creativity and skills will naturally grow.
Having blogged for the past (almost) eight years, my creativity, photography, writing, product knowledge and computer skills have all improved massively.
I would bet money on the fact that you will never find a blogger who isn't a little bit embarrassed by their first blog posts... I certainly am, but I will never delete them (no matter how cringe they are), because it's all about growth and development.
I am always looking to improve in all areas of whatever I do, and blogging has helped me to do that.

I could give another twenty reasons why you should write a blog, but I'd end up repeating myself... Basically, if you have a passion, or something to share, then do it - it's the best thing I ever did!
