Over the past year or so, I have developed a real love for Clarins as a brand. Every time I try something from their skincare range or their makeup collection, I find myself being more and more impressed.
The latest products to enter my stash are the lipsticks and lip pencils from the Graphik Autumn Collection.
Everyone who knows me, knows how much I love a good lipstick and through having so many (seriously, I don't know when to stop!) I have become quite picky with what I will wear and what I look for in my favourite lipsticks.
Comfort on the lips is top of my list, followed by long lasting colour, pigmentation, hydration and taste. I also love good looking packaging, but that's just me being extra fussy!

Clarins have ticked all of my boxes and more with this range. I have been wearing shades '754 Deep Red' and '756 Guava', which are two of the three brand new shades added to the Joli Rouge collection.
The comfort comes from the ultra moisturising formula, which is enriched with organic marsh samphire extract and mango oil, which give softer lips and add an amazing shine to the finish of the lipstick, resulting in much fuller looking lips.
I paired both lipsticks up with a matching lip liner pencil in shades '06 Red' and '05 Roseberry'. Much like the lipsticks, they are extremely smooth and soft to apply and thanks to the jojoba oil in the formula, they glide onto the lips to give a line that prevents any bleeding or running of lip colour.
The addition of lip pencils is pretty new to my makeup routine, but it's now a step I always try to include. I find when I wear liner, especially since having my lip fillers, my lip shape looks massively improved and defined.
'Deep Red' and 'Red' team up perfectly to give a gorgeous wintery red lip, which works perfectly with my pale skin tone for this time of year. I feel confident enough with the products to wear this lip in the daytime or for evening when I'm wanting a more glam look.
This is one of few red lips I feel will stay in place throughout the day, without the worry of it smudging or fading, and the beautiful glossy finish is always a talking point when I have it on.
'Guava' and 'Roseberry' are also a dreamy duo and such a unique colour combination, which I just love! I've been wearing this a lot during the daytime for an alternative, more Autumnal pinky nude shade, which differs from most of my other seasonal favourites, again thanks to the shine.
Both the lipsticks instantly make the lips appear smooth and flawless, with the satin finish and high shine. The liners provide amazing colour and definition, and can be worn simply as a liner or all over the lips for longer lasting wear.

Of course Clarins have made sure the packaging is just as beautiful as the products themselves, with the lipsticks being encased in gorgeous gold bullets.
I definitely want to add more Clarins lip products to my collection... I'm going to find a few new shades when I'm next at their counter.
