I love introducing you all to new brands, and this is a post that I've been really excited to share with you for a while now.
I have been trying out some products from LOLA By Perse, a British brand that has developed a collection especially for makeup artists by makeup artists or those who wish to recreate MUA standard looks at home.

The range is huge, with tools, colours and textures to suit everyone's needs, and is available to buy online or in Marks & Spencer stores around the country - Great news for those who want to have a play with the products before purchasing.
I have been trying out a few items from the collection and have picked out my favourite three that I would really recommend you try.
The packaging is very simple, yet quite chic, with the frosted glass bottles and soft touch black compacts and the price points of the products are all really great and affordable.

The star product for me has to be the Picture Perfect Foundation, which I wear in shade B002. This is a foundation that ticks a lot of boxes for me; It's lightweight, has a radiant finish, is light/medium coverage and sits comfortably on my dry skin.
The liquid formula is really easy to work with, and this blends out perfectly with my foundation brush, covering any blemishes and evening out my skin tone. Interestingly, it contains an innovative pearlescent powder which corrects imperfections by reflecting broad-spectrum light, giving the skin a really natural glow from within.
I've been wearing this recently as my daytime base product, and I have no complaints, it's definitely up there with my favourite foundations, and at only £19.95 for a 25ml bottle, it's one of the more affordable options too.

As a bit of a highlight hoarder, I am pleased to say that the LOLA Highlighter Powder is one of the few that I keep going back to in my makeup drawer. I wear this on my cheekbones, brow bones and on my cupids bow to give a natural looking radiance to my skin.
It's a really delicate powder, which has an almost cream-esque feel to it, and when applied with a brush or my finger tips, I find it blends out beautifully. It's a gorgeously natural illuminating shade of champagne, which gives a dewy glow to my complexion, leaving my makeup looking natural, yet enhanced and lifted.

I am wearing both the foundation and highlighter in the photos below.
Lastly, I felt it necessary to give a mention to the nail polish. I rarely speak about nail polishes on here, as I'm quite hard to impress, but there was something about this that made me feel the need to include it in this post.
I know you're probably thinking what could make a nail polish stand out from the rest, they're all pretty much the same... Well I have always been the same, until now.
I received the shade 'Poison Ivy' which is a really pretty turquoise green, a little brighter than my usual nail choices, but maybe that's a good thing!
The polish is formulated with expert gel technology that helps to ensure fluidity for easy, smooth application and gives a high gloss, resistant finish when on the nails. It dries really quickly, is fully opaque with two coats of colour and lasts for ages without chipping - Incredible!

What do you think about LOLA? Will you be giving any of the products a try, or have you already?!
