So here we are, a brand new year, a brand new start and a brand new list of goals.
I'm not so much about the 'resolutions', however I am keen on calling this a bucket list, of goals that I hope to achieve before 2019.

Last year I wrote this blog post, with ten goals for 2017, some of which I stuck to, understandably, some I didn't, but I still stick by my comment that by writing them down, it gives me more motivation to make sure I try my best to achieve these points or tick them off the list, so I'm doing it again!
I definitely need to make sure that I attend more blogger events this year. I started 2017 with the same goal, and the year began really well, with me travelling to London and attending every North East event I was invited to, then this kind of stopped.
There is nothing I love more than meeting other bloggers, brainstorming ideas and tips and discovering new brands and products, so I'm just going to focus on that and look forward to events rather than worrying about them. I struggle a little with anxiety when it comes to events, but when I do go, I love it, so I have promised to push myself to say yes to as much as I possibly can in 2018.

Another thing I'm determined to do, is relaunch FABB Events, and hold more events around the UK for all of you. I have some great ideas for some big events and some smaller events, which I can't wait to start working on, I just hope you're all going to be as excited about them as I am!

I'm hoping that we will be able to visit more UK cities in 2018. There are so many beautiful places in this country, and as someone who is terrified of flying, I feel like I should take advantage of the cities I can visit without getting on a plane. Top of the list for me are Brighton and Edinburgh, both of which I have been to before and loved, so definitely want to go back to. I also want to revisit London, Liverpool and Birmingham and spend a night or two in a tree house/yurt/log cabin.

On the subject of travel, I really want to take Elodie to Disneyland this year. Florida would be the dream (despite my fear), but it does feel a little unrealistic, so I'm sure we would all happily settle for Disneyland Paris. It's something that Elodie has been asking to do, and now that she's eight, I feel like it's the perfect age for her to be able to fully enjoy and embrace everything there, I am worried if we leave it much longer, she'll be too old, so fingers crossed we can make it happen.

My favourite band Boyzone will be going on tour this year, to celebrate their 25 year anniversary, so I'm going to promise myself that I will see them a few times. I also really hope to be able to see Olly Murs live again too if he tours, his gigs are always so much fun.

I'm going to consciously try to take more photos of day to day life, and I'm going to start printing my favourites and create some photo albums. Now that I have my new camera lens I feel that I'll want to take more photos anyway, and as soon as I upgrade my phone and finally have one with a working camera I'll have no excuse not to keep snapping away!

I think every blogger will be setting themselves the goal of improving their social media, and for me, this is an ongoing target. I feel like Instagram is the biggest battle at the moment, but it's still the platform that I love the most. As mentioned above, once I have a working camera phone, this will make things easier for me when it comes to Insta, and I'll be able to upload stories more often, which I'm hoping will help my growth. I also want to increase my Twitter following and engagement with more consistent Tweeting... Which leads me onto my next goal.

Get organised. Yes I really want to sort myself out when it comes to organisation in 2018. I am going to set a more definite weekly schedule with regards to my blog and home life and really make effort to get things done. This year I have a bullet journal and a diary to keep track of everything with, so I have no excuses! I might dedicate an entire blog post to this and the changes I plan on making... Let me know if you'd like to read!

The biggest mountain we have to climb this year, but the one I want the most, is to save up our deposit for a new house. It feels like we're going to have to work really hard, be really savvy with our money and try everything possible to make some extra pennies, but it has to be possible, we just have to do our best to make it happen... I really have my heart set on this.

Lastly, one thing I didn't get to do last year, that I want to make sure to do in 2018 is go to some Christmas markets and/or Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. We had plans to go to the Newcastle markets, but time ran away with us and we didn't get chance. Hopefully it will be one I can tick off the list this year.

Have you set yourself any goals for the year ahead?
