I have spoken about beauty boxes on here many times over the years, but I'm going to put it out there and make quite a big claim in an industry filled with beauty box options... Discovering the Latest In Beauty box was the day I found the best subscription box.
When I first wrote about their boxes, I mentioned how much I loved that you could subscribe to a box where you knew what you would be receiving. Yes you lose the element of surprise when you open the box, but I much prefer to know what I'm paying for in advance.
Well, if you like the sound of that, they have gone one better and now let you create your own beauty box!
The most difficult thing about getting yourself one of these boxes, is making the decision of what to put in your box, I was totally spoilt for choice! Latest In Beauty are definitely being generous with the vast range of products and brands available... Depending on how much you wish to pay for your box each month, you can choose from three, six or nine products to receive.
Latest In Beauty were kind enough to allow me to select nine products, from a huge, varied selection of makeup, skincare, hair care and more.

I tried my best to select a varied group of products, and went with some brands I know and already love as well as some I've heard good things about and have been wanting to try.
This resulted in me choosing four skincare items, two makeup, two body care and one hair care item.
Both of the makeup items I chose were lip products, but for anyone who knows me, that will come as no surprise! I'm a bit of a lipstick junkie, and you can never have too many lipsticks, surely?!
Still, I found two products which are completely new to me from brands I already really love, so I had high hopes for them both.
I think the very first item for the box that I decided on was the Burt's Bees Natural Lipstick in the shade 'Sunset Cruise'; a glossy, super moisturising wash of colour for the lips, that not only makes them look pretty but nourishes them as you wear. Burt's Bees have packed these lippies full of goodness including beeswax, raspberry seed oil and vitamin E.
Sunset Cruise is the perfect Spring, daytime shade, a natural pinky coral that I know I'll be applying throughout the warmer months on those no makeup days.

The second lip products I chose is completely justified, as it's the polar opposite to the first. Lord & Berry Shiny Crayon Lipstick in 'Diva' is a deep plum shade which admittedly is more of an A/W shade, but for a night out, I'll be reaching for this. The colour payoff from this is really intense, yet it's still hydrating, long lasting and comfortable to wear.
I've always been a big fan of Lord & Berry's eye products, but now I can safely say their lip products are just as good.
The skincare items I picked started with the Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet, which I just couldn't wait to try. Everything I have ever tried from their range has impressed me, and this has done just the same. For anyone who has sensitive or dry skin like I do, you will love this. It's cooling, hydrating and so soothing to apply. I will definitely be purchasing the full size tube of this.
I was also really intrigued by the Sanctuary Foaming Micellar Cleansing Water... I haven't given this a go yet as I'm still working my way through my Garnier Micellar Water but as soon as they run out, or if I need to go away for a few days, I'll be trying it out... Doesn't it sound cool?! Let me know if you've tried it before.

From two brands that I have heard so much about, yet are still new to me, I quickly added the Weleda Skin Food and the Masque Bar Pore Refining Creme Mask to my box.
Skin Food is renowned for being amazing on dry and rough skin... I've actually heard it described as a bit of a miracle worker, so I can't wait to give this a thorough try and get back to you all with my thoughts. And the face mask was just something I couldn't resist, as I love trying out new masks every weekend for my little pamper treat, and anything that's going to help with visible pores gets a thumbs up from me!
For body care I selected St Tropez Gradual Tan, which is probably the only product from their range that I am yet to try. I love everything I've ever used of theirs though, and I've heard such great things about this... It sounds ideal for adding a touch of colour to pale skin when I don't want a full on tan, I always feel like a gradual tan looks much more natural on my skintone.

I also got myself a Friendly Soap Detox Bar, which I'm really looking for ward to trying, as it's unlike anything I have used before. It's an activated charcoal bar, with rosemary and lime essential oils to help absorb toxins and moisturise the skin - Sounds impressive doesn't it?! I'll make sure to report back on how I get on with this.

And last but not least, for my hair, I chose the O Way Moisturizing Hair Mask, which I had heard about and been wanting to try for ages. This is targeted towards dry and dehydrated, frizzy, thick hair which describes mine almost exactly. I will be putting this to the test over the next few weeks in the hope that it's as good as everyone says it is. I have high hopes, as my hair usually reacts really well to masks and treatments.
