There's something about Charlotte Tilbury products, something special and unexplained that really draws me in. Whenever I'm strolling around a beauty hall, eyes darting in all directions at the perfectly merchandised displays of makeup and skincare products, the bright lights and the billboard style adverts all fighting for consumers attention, I can sometimes find myself lost in this beauty lovers dreamland.

The endless displays of lipsticks in every colour imaginable, the immaculate makeup artists who are poised ready to make you look as close to perfection as they do and the hustle and bustle of all of the other shoppers searching for that new product that's going to make them look and feel a million dollars, it can all blend into one. However, I always find myself pausing at the Charlotte Tilbury counter.
The Hollywood dressing room style mirrors, surrounded by eye catching lightbulbs, on trend rose gold packaging that encases all of the magical products, images of the looks that you can create using these products of the most beautiful women you have ever seen and the endless choice. There is always something new to try and test, I just can't help be hypnotised by everything Charlotte has ever put her name to.

There's a real glamour about the brand and there's definitely a sense of pride involved in buying something and being seen carrying around the instantly-recognisable burgundy bags with the embossed gold writing and ribbon-tied handles. Likewise, it feels glamourous to reach into your handbag and reapply your makeup with the world watching, more so, when it's a CT branded product, of course! That packaging which catches the light and every other woman's eye as you reapply, it's that and, the sheer quality of the products that has me and pretty much every other beauty blogger and beauty lover obsessing over the brand.

Reminiscing, one of my first purchases from a Charlotte Tilbury counter was her mascara and I was sadly disappointed by it which admittedly was, and still is, a shock. Everything else I had tried had more than impressed me. In fact, I was already falling in love with the brand, and everything I have tried since, has only cemented my love even deeper.
Fast forward three or four years and my collection has grown tremendously. Every day I find myself reaching into my lipstick drawer, only to pick up one of the many CT branded rose gold bullets that sit amongst all of my other lipsticks again. Nothing else compares to be truthful. If I wear blush it's Charlotte's I love the most, if I'm applying eyeshadow I'm reaching for Charlotte's and likewise for contour and skincare too. It's becoming a bit of a recurring theme, but until recently, my lashes were always wearing something else. I say until recently, as I was incredibly lucky to be sent a press package from Charlotte Tilbury, beyond lucky in fact, maybe I've peaked as a blogger now, as I don't think I'll ever receive anything that will make me as happy as that parcel did.

Onto my main point though, in this parcel sat a brand new Full Fat Lashes mascara, with a formula that had been tweaked since I last had my hands on one of these wands. I found myself instantly intrigued, almost forgetting about the other products in my beautifully wrapped package, and raced to my mirror to apply the mascara that was promising me curl, separation, volume, length and drama, with nothing but high hopes in my heart, as I knew if anyone could work their magic on perfecting a product, it would be Ms Tilbury.

And the verdict, well, I would be honest if I didn't like it, but thankfully, that isn't the case here at all. Instead, I have another product from that favourite brand of mine to add to my every day beauty routine, to slick onto my lashes with pride and to fall in love with a little bit more every time I wear it. The intense black pigment in the mascara adds a bold and dramatic lift to my eyes, with the formula adding and holding length and curl, altogether making my lashes appear fluttery and natural, yet thicker and full of volume, which lasts all day long.
On the days that I want to achieve a more full-on makeup look with my eyes, the addition of the Feline Flick liquid liner helps to make all of the difference and take my makeup up a level, to something suitable for a girls night out or date night. My eyes can be difficult to work with, no thanks to my hereditary heavy eye lids that have been passed down for generations in my family. Because of this, I usually find that a good mascara is enough for me, but on the odd occasion that I want to look a little more vamped up, that flick of liner above my lashes can transform my look like no other. The thin, tapered brush applicator makes application and precision much easier than a lot of others I have tried and failed with in the past, and with a balanced hand and a well angled mirror, I can achieve that flick that we all lust after. The liner has a gloss to it, even when it dries on the lid, which is something that I love for evening. It's something a little more special than the usual matte liners that I have worn before, it's something that makes that extra step in my makeup routine worth while, and makes me feel like that little bit of effort has paid off.

For an every day eye, the mascara alone is the one I am picking up, much like my beloved Very Victoria and Bitch Perfect, every single day. For a little more glam or sex appeal, that addition of Feline Flick and Oh Marilyn on the lips, and I am ready to be seen.
I'd love to know which Charlotte Tilbury products you have fallen for... I have my eye on Hollywood Filter, she's definitely next on my hit list!
