It's been a long time since I shared a favourites post with you all. In fact, I haven't shared a round up at all this year, my last was at the end of 2017! Personally I still don't think you can beat a classic favourites post, as they say, the oldies are often the best, and I really have been using some wonderful products lately.

I managed to whittle my list of products down to just seven, I was hoping to jus have a top five but I couldn't pick! Hopefully I'll be talking about something you've been wanting to try, as I thoroughly recommend all of these...

I have a whole blog post planned about the Makeup Revolution Foundation Drops as I just love this product so much, and you've probably seen me giving it constant shout outs on my Insta stories! For anyone with dry skin, this base product is a god-send. It's a really light base of liquid consistency, which blends into the skin and feels incredibly moisturising at the same time. It has a slightly glowy finish to it, and can be built up from a light to medium coverage. I'd describe it as not too dissimilar to the bareMinerals bareSkin Foundation, if you've ever used that you will definitely notice the likeness. I've enjoyed using this all through the Summer months as it feels weightless on the skin, and I'm sure I will continue to use it in Winter too, when my skin is drier. Best of all, it's only £7 for a bottle, which lasts a few months - bargain!

After being selected as a Skinfluencer for Dermalogica, I have fallen in love with their Skin Smoothing Cream. My skin can be a nightmare; it's combination/dry with the dry patches weirdly being on my T-zone and the texture can be very mixed, I get bumps under the surface especially on my chin and forehead. This moisturiser has worked wonders for me in the short time that I have been using it (around 5 weeks now). Unlike other moisturisers I have used in the past, this is applied to damp skin and instantly locks in moisture, my skin feels soothed and comfortable every time I apply and I have already seen an improvement in the texture and feel of my skin. I have a blog post coming in the next couple of weeks about all of the Dermalogica products I've been using too.

As someone who doesn't fake tan all of the time, when I do, I need something fool proof and simple to use. I had heard lots of bloggers raving about the Bondi Sands 1 Hour Express Tan and after seeing the beautiful olive colour it gives to even the palest of skin tones, I just had to give it a go for myself. Since getting this, I have fake tanned more than I had in the past four years! The foam sinks into the skin so quickly, with a slight guide colour to make it so much easier to apply (I always use a mitt for this) and it has the most beautiful coconut scent to it, which came as a nice surprise. For someone as pale as I am, this is great as leaving it on for 1 hour as the name suggests, leaves you with a slightly bronzed and very natural glow to the skin. If you leave the mousse on the skin longer, it can develop into a deeper looking tan, so you can kind of customise the kind of look you want to achieve. If you are looking for a full on Essex style tan for a night out, this isn't the product for you, but if you're like me and just want a healthy looking natural tan, then it's definitely worth a go!

Rapidbrow is a product I had been wanting to try for ages, it's a bit of a cult product alongside it's big sister Rapidlash, and after hearing so many good things for so long and then suffering a waxing disaster, I decided that it had to be mine. My brows are very dark, and on my pale skin, any sparse patches can be really obvious if I haven't filled them in. When my brows were waxed too thin, I could have cried, as I love a thick, fluffy brow, but this really did save them for me! Brushing the product through my brows morning and night (yes it's that easy!) without doubt helped my brows to grow back quicker than they would have naturally. They recommend 60 days use, but after just a couple of weeks I saw improvement... Not only that, now that I have a new brow specialist and my brows are finally back in shape, I am still using Rapidbrow on the areas which need it and the fullness of the hair keeps on improving. Sparse areas are so minimal now, that I can comfortably go with minimal brow product in my day to day life, which is something I would never have thought I'd say.

Something which has made it's way into my every day makeup routine is the Rosie For Autograph Translucent Finishing Powder. I haven't always used powders, as my skin is so dry, adding powder sometimes makes it look worse. However, I started using this to set my makeup when I was wearing a heavier base, and really loved the finish it gave to my skin. Fast forward a couple of months and I'm reaching for it every day! I use it mainly underneath my eyes and on my chin to set my concealer, and it gives the most flawless, smooth finish to my skin, leaving it feeling silky and still looking radiant with no dryness in sight. It looks so beautiful on my dressing table too, the packaging is just gorgeous!

My favourite pamper night treat at the moment is the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask and when I say treat, I mean it, this mask is pure luxury in price, but also in performance, which makes it worth every penny. I tend to use this once every week or ten days, when my skin is really in need of a pick me up and when I have the time to take out some minutes just to myself. It's really smooth and easy to apply and has a light fragrance which I find really relaxing and calming. It sits comfortably on the skin for 15 minutes or so before it's time to wash off, and there are definite instant results. I always notice my skin being so much softer, smoother and pores are less noticeable. Again, Charlotte has impressed me, as she always does, another thumbs up from me.

Easily my most used product from Urban Decay is the All Nighter Setting Spray which I have repurchased countless times, despite it being a probably unnecessary extra step in my makeup routine, it has become one that I just have to have, and it's so quick and easy to use, there's really no reason not to. Not only does this quick spritz each day ensure that my makeup stays in place for hours on end, but it somehow evens out my makeup, leaving it always looking smooth and flawless rather than it settling into fine lines as it would without. I apply this before my mascara, but after everything else, and the light mist dries on my skin in a matter of seconds. I especially recommend to those of you with dry/combination skin like mine, it's a product definitely worth the hype.
